This was for one of my customer's best friends. This is the first time I attemped a purse, or true to life shoe. The purse is chocolate cake with genache filling, covered in fondant then airbrushed, and I painted all the C's on it from a sencil I made. The shoe I did freehand from a mixture of 50% fondant and 50% gumpaste. Did it white then airbrushed the colors, and pained the details. The tiffany bag is rice crispie treats, then covered in fondant with gumpaste tissue. Gumpaste lilly. Fun to make, I would have rather it been on a fondant covered base cake, but they LOVE my icing, and wanted icing, and for it to be plain not to take away from the "important stuff" on the cake! I love how this turned out!

I made a simple one layer yellow cake into a classic channel wallet. Made the symbol and heel out of gum paste. My first heel, I used a simple template I got ofline then used colored surgar to make it look more fancey with a gumpaste bow. The wallet is fondant with quilting then I painted a light amout of water of the whole cake to give it the leather, shiny look without using a steamer that might have melted the cream cheese frosting.

This cake was made for my best friend's birthday. She is a shoe fanatic and loves the color purple! This was my 1st time making gumpaste shoes, and I think they're really hard! I had some fondant issues, so this isn't how I originally designed the cake. But all in all, I'm please with the final result, and the bday girl LOVED it!

These 6 six shoes will be cupcake toppers for red velvet cupcakes. The birthday girl's favorite color is purple and she loves shoes. Each one is slightly larger than a quarter. They were fun to make! They were made from MMF. Some were painted with water (to look patened leather) and some with luster dust.

A client requested a designer-like stiletto shoe for a birthday cake. I had never done a stiletto before, and had no pattern to use on this design. It's truly a Taria original! I hope the client likes it.

Chocolate cake, buttercream icing, fondant accents and gum paste shoe. First attempt at a gum paste shoe, not perfect! I need to learn a little bit more about painting gum paste before I try again. Followed the gum paste shoe tutorial on CC.

This was inspired by Kel6470's Fashion Cake. I was told the Birthday Girl loved fashion and high heels so I put this together. This was my first tiara, high heel, and fondant roses...so fun! Everything is edible and I made the mmf myself.

Thanks to cakelady48 for the design. 8in round frosted with chocolate buttercream colored black (I was shocked at how much black it took even though it started out brown...I can't imagine doing this with vanilla buttercream!). Fondant accents. This was my first time making fondant heels, and I'm very happy with them! I used the article that you can find by searching for shoes, and it was quite easy to follow. This was also my first time making the fondant bows like this, and again I found it easy by following the article here on CC. Thanks to everyone who posts these things that are so helpful!!!!

High heel shoe crafted entirely of gumpaste using one of my shoes as a starting point for the style of shoe. The design itself is my own, with an imprint on the vamp and a sassy little bow on the side. Used cooking spray to give the shoe its shine. The tiers are french vanilla filled with strawberries and vanilla buttercream covered in vanilla marshmallow fondant.

This was for a shoe fanatic who loves Louboutin! I attempted the shoe box with a fondant lid, but it ripped, so I just iced the whole thing and called it good! She loved it regardless!

I made this cake for my BFF. She LOVES the Sex and the City series and movie. There are ALOT of first on this cake for me. First high heel I have ever attempted was made of 50/50 gumpaste and fondant. I bought the 'bling' at HL thank goodness for their coupons. The purse is another first for me...it is RKT cover with candy melts and fondant. Pearls are made from 50/50 gumpaste/fondant...The cake is cosmopolitan flavor with orange lime buttercream. This cake tastes awesome!!! The skyling is made of 50/50 gumpaste and fondant also...This is the only thing that gave me fits on this cake...I think I probably rolled it out TOO thin. The shoe, pearls and skyline was brushed with pearl dust. I would not of been able to complete this cake with out the help of CC and it's members who answered all my questions. Thanks so much, I can't wait to see her face when she see her cake!

I made this cake just as practice, and i was dying to use my new sugarcraft items that i recently purchased. The high heel is made using the large sugarcraft sole cutter, the sugarcraft heel mold, and the sugarcraft shoe patterns. I also bought the drying rack, but didn't need to use that in the end. 8" round chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. All fondant, and the shoe has tylose in the fondant aswell.
Thanks for looking.

This was for a sweet 16. They had a snowflake theme with blue and white as their colors. I love the way it came out. I had trouble with the middle tier but coved it up with the diamonds... thank goodness. I had the label say Happy Sweet 16 Katelyn and I used her b-day as the barcode. They said they cried when they saw the cake and it was the hit of the party. I am doing the same cake (only the top 2 layers) next week in new colors. If anyone has an opinion of the colors feel free to share. It is for a bridal shower and she wants it colorful. Thanks for looking.

This was my cookie entry for the NCA cake show this past weekend in VA. The cookies were hand cut - no cutter and each was modeled after an actual shoe. Each she is decorated using different edible materials... home made sugar gems, edible dusts, RI, fondant, hand cut gelatin sequins, etc. I made the boxes (lie the manufacturer) for the display). They were a lot of work, but a lot of fun to do!
