Made this cake for a friend's wife for Mother's Day. It's a replica of her purse. Vanilla cake with light raspberry mousse baked in a 9X13 cut into thirds, stacked, and carved. Used MMF to cover and on some of the details. Hand painted the design. So fun. I think this is one of my favorites.

Louis Vuitton Handbag Cake that was auctioned off for a charity. Sold for $900! Every single symbol was hand drawn on - took a LONG time! And yes, the keys and keychain are dible too!

My first attempt at this cake, next time i would pin prink the lettering which would give it a neater look. It was very theraputic though not as stressful as i thought. Yellow cake with vanilla buttercream and fondant accents. used gold highligher for the gold rings and lock.

For my aunt's 70th birthday party. Black foil cases = lemon sponge with lemon curd buttercream (don't like it tooo sweet, so added lemon zest and juice for a bit of oomph!); pink foil cases = carrot cake with cream cheese frosting; silver foil cases = chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. Topped with sugarpaste disc and gumpaste handbag which I made with a Patchwork Cutter. Had a bit of bother with some of the cupcake cases peeling away from the cakes! :o(

This cake was modeled after the Hermes Birkin Handbag. It was requested in red and I decided to use an alligator texture on the bag. The cake was a bit rushed b/c I had other orders on the same day, so the gumpaste handles did not have time to dry completely :-( Thanks to megannell who's construction advice i followed and it turned out really stable. I assembled it using 3 teirs w/ dowels, then cakeboard, then another 3 layers and a dowel through the entire cake. The flavor was red velvet with Hershey chocolate buttercream. This pic was taken with a cell phone, as soon as I get a better pic I will upload.

This was made for a lady who loves designer bags and shoes. It is vanilla sponge with vanilla butter cream filling. I used a picture of the bag to get the detailing right.

The purse cake is covered in fondant and the Louis V insignia was handpainted on. The purse bag's handles and accents were done in gumpaste. The VS shopping bag is cake and cereal rice treats covered in gumpaste with handpainted highlights and gumpaste tissue paper. The highheel shoe is also all gumpaste. This cake was made for my mother-in-law's 50th Birthday.
