I have been planning this cake for my little girl since I found out I was having her.lol! It is iced in buttercream and the decorations are fondant. I had some trouble with the wires in the sides of the cake but I think it turned out okay.

I made this cake for a cousins Sweet 16 birthday. Her favourite colours are pink and green. The top layer is French vanilla and the bottom layer is chocolate both with buttercream filling. I got the idea for this cake from this site. It's a combo of beachcakes, LolaT and Rexy's cakes, thanks so much for the ideas. She loved it.

These are made from the Green Tea petite fours recipe on this site, but I filled them with white chocolate french buttercream and coated them with green tea flavored quick pour fondant. I had some troubles with the quick pour fondant, hence some of them were just quickly decorated on top. I learned a lot doing these. They were also very YUMMY!

This was my first paid cake for two people (dad/daughter). She likes boating and he likes golf and John Deere. I wasn't sure what to do with the request so here it is...

Buttercream icing, royal flowers, chocolate cake with raspberry filling. I was afraid to color a cake green, but I like the way it turned out! My husband thought it was "antique-y" looking.

This is for a co-workers's son for his 21st birthday. Had some help with this one--Doug for the image and Oceanspitfire for the lettering method (royal icing letters placed on cake). The FBCT was really thin, so I'm glad it came out okay. Was going for hunter green, but stopped at darkish green because I almost ran out of coloring! Cake is BC French Vanilla baked with the extender in a 9X13 pan (hooray for Magic Line pans!). Frosting is Dream Whip icing with Hershey's Special Dark cocoa added.

Yellow cake, buttercream icing with scroll work and fresh flowers topper. Freehand scrolls, matching bridal colors. This is probably one of my favorite cakes.

This is a practice cake that I just finished for an upcoming wedding, the cake will have mint green orchids and it will be 4 tiers. I'm not very happy with the border, I used a tip #47 for it, the bride wants that kind of border.
And she gae the topper, I don't really like it, it looks very cheap, is made of aluminum, but that's what she wants. Let me know if you have any tips on how to prevent the hand shaking when making an straight border.

I'm so excited about this cake. It's for my son's 4th birthday, and I hope I've hit this one out of the park!!! It's a farm/john deere theme party so I went with an abstract of the theme. I really like the outcome. It's strawberry cake on top, chocolate in the middle, and vanilla on bottom. His request....Please let me know you thoughts on this cake.

This cake set was a match to the wedding party: The bride and groom wore ivory. The bride had a trail of star flowers in burgandy, violet and blue covering her bodice and train. The bridesmaids wore sage green and the groomsmen had matching vests and hankies in the sage green. I kept it simple given the two hour drive in the July 28th humidity. Heart is marble w BC filling, green round is white torte w lemon filling and ivory round is vanilla layer with blueberry filling. Rounds: BC w paper towel pattern.

My grandma is italian, therefore I decided to decorate this cake to celebrate our heritage. It's white cake with cannoli filling and butter cream icing. The letters and the larger flowers on top are fondant. :-)

14, 10, 6 Rounds w/Buttercream icing and white cake with orange flavoring (brides request). With double layer ribbon and fresh flowers. It turned out wonderful, it was an August wedding and the AC gave out on the hottest day of the year (in the South) everyone was dripping before the ceremony ended - but the icing never gave way and it was a long time before it was cut!

This 1/4 sheet cake was for a fiesta themed baby shower. Iced in yellow buttercream with a basket weave pattern on the sides using tips #47 & #10. The center oval was made with a #16 tip and the border with a #32 tip. Plastic maracas were used as a topper.

6 in 4 layer white cake with lime mousse and WBH House buttercream. Decorated with fresh flowers and limes. Just a practice cake experimenting with all new recipes and techniques. The cake looks yellow in the picture but is actually a light lime green.

This is a 12" square cake with BC. It was completed before I ever saw this site (as are most of my posted cakes to date). The date on the pic. is wrong, should be 6-10-06. I am starting to become comfident to actually write on the cake, but I used those pre-made letters here. ugh. Well, it tasted great anyway! Thanks for looking.

This is a strawberry cake with dark chocolate BC on 8 inch base and regular BC with strawberry filling on 6 inch top. Dragonflies, flowers and leaves are all edible molded from Pettinice. Your critique for positive improvement would be especially welcome.

My niece helped me make this cake for her best friend's surprise Sweet 16 party. We were originally going to do the dot/harlequin/stripe pattern, but decided to go all-dots to match the invitations we made. Our only hitch was that we didn't use enough dowels, and as time went by the bottom two tiers began to collapse and the fondant bunched up. BUMMER! But it was still cute and her friend was happy and that's what it was about! :)

This was my first attempt at a tiered cake. Well it's not really tiered. I used a 9" round cake and cut a hole in the middle and raised the middle to make it look tiered. I know it's not perfectly shaped but I was just seeing how difficult it would be to place a layer on top and frost them.

This cake was created for a thirteen year-old’s birthday. She wants to be a fashion designer. It is a 10” chocolate layered cake. BC frosting with Pettinice buttons, dress cutouts, fabric and needle/thread accents. Your critique/constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.
