This wedding cake was for a very special friend. The top cake is an 8 inch, double layer, simple white chocolate cake filled and frosted with butter cream. The daisies are marshmallow fondant dusted in sugar crystals. The cupcakes were shaded to match the wedding colors of lime green, blue and white. The bride and groom made the cupcake stand. Thank you ccers for all the ideas!

Buttercream frosted with gumpaste and MMF accents - ruffles are 1" circles cut from fondant and pinched up into a ruffle and stuck randomly on the buttercream frosted tier!

The inspiration for this cake is based off a cake I saw here on CC by Carol74. I don't know what I would do without CC! The baby did not come out the way I wanted, but I didn't have time to do another :(.I did alot of this cake with buttercream, as requested. The baby and pea pods, flowers, and bows are fondant. TFL!

Odd combination but I love how it turned out ... So did the bride and groom. The snake skin print came from the bridesmaides dresses and the button cames from the brides bouquet. She did not have regular flower. Instead she had crocheted flowers with button centers. Such a fun wedding!

10- and 6-inch round buttercream. Monkey, lion, trees, clouds, and leaves are fondant, Sun topper is gumpaste. I used my Sunflower cutter to make the sun and brushed it with Petal Dust.

I don't do many baby shower cakes, but I really enjoyed making this one. This one was based off of the "Ahoy Baby Boy" line of party supplies/decorations. The client provided me with a paper plate and I used this to create all the decorations from modeling chocolate. Except the bees - they were just too small to cut so I printed them on edible image paper. The blue gingham pattern was also printed on edible image paper.
