Promised myself I wouldn't post this but since we're going "WORST" cakes, it's a MUST.

This cake was for my cousin. She graduated high school, so I used ribbons in her school colors. This cake had to travel from GA to FL. Made it fine. :)

My daughter's school has a dinner after graduation mass. I did last year's cake and had a cap for each student w/ his/her name made out of color flow. used school's mascot w/ the year and stars. I'm doing my daughter's class this year and will probably do something similar but use chocolate instead of CF for the caps and toppers.

....my first "real" cake. This cake was for my cousin's high school graduation party. They wanted something different, so we made the cake in Illinois colors, the college he would be attending in the fall. There are fondant accents on the sides of the cake, which I wasn't very pleased with. The cake was a 2-layer, 11x15 yellow cake, filled with bavarian creme.

A friend was graduating from college so I made him this. White cake frosted with buttercream. First time I'd done something like the tassel and I was especially proud that it came out so nice. :-D

This cake was done for a young lady who loves teddy bears. Her school colors are red and blue. This was my first attempt at a 3D Bear cake...I was not too pleased with the final results...but I learned a lot. I will try this one again soon.

This cake was requested for a college graduation. " Don't worry he is well over 21" This cake was driven to a graduation party 4 hours away. I do hope the cake made it to the celebration intact. A bottle of Hennessey like the one on the cake was also given to the graduate.

I made this cake for my sister's graduation from college. The daisies and drop flowers are royal icing and the rest is buttercream. It was my first time using royal icing (love it!), first time making daisies and my first time doing basketweave on the side of a cake so I was happy with how it turned out. Thanks for looking!

I made this graduation cake for my sister-in-law who was graduating from high school. Pom poms, cap and diploma made with marshmallow fondant. Cake iced in buttercream. This is the second cake I've ever made for an event and I learned a lot by making mistakes this time around. It was a lot of fun to create. But, I was so happy yesterday to finally have it finished.
