This cake was quite a chore! It's an 11x15 sheet on the bottom, with a number four on top, cut from another 11x15. All buttercream with fondant rolled roses and Hello Kitty cake kit topper. Sprayed with luster dust, sprinkled with edible glitter. Decorated to match party decor. Worth the work though - I got a $20 tip! :)

I was told to do this cake for an officemate's daughter. I was given a design for the Barbie theme party. I did exactly what they wanted but I have to revise something. The put some dots instead of hearts as they originally wanted because putting some hearts would be too much. They were happy on how the cake came out...chocolate cake iced in BC and covered with homemade fondant!
Thanks for dropping by!

I made this cake for my first granddaughter's 1st birthday. Her mom wanted something frilly (I was going to do Winnie the Pooh till she mentioned that) and this is what I came up with. Chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. Lacey points are made with violet candy melts.

this was my second attempt at fondant accessories. a mom saw the other cake that i did and asked if i could make one for her daughter. my cake wasn't extremely level and the icing was causing me havoc but otherwise i think it turned out okay. molly loved it and i guess that's all that matters. thanks for looking =)

10 inch cake, then I made little 4 inch cakes and stacked them and skewered the whole thing. The 'bricks" are just cut out fondant squares, the staircase was a pain! (stacked cakes that I carved) and the little girl is made of 50/50 gumpaste/fondant

Made this for my daughter's 10th Birthday. :) She helped with it, which was really fun. We drew up a design and went for it! Had a great time, and everyone loved it! :) It was lots of fun! Chocolate triple layer on the bottom, and white double layer on the top. Butter cream for the filling and covered in butter cream, as well as MMF.

Didn't know the bday girl's name until after I took the photo... WASC on bottom, chocolate on top, buttercream filling, everything else MMF. I guess I kneaded the pink too long, didn't have as much of the marble effect as the purple, but it shows even less in the photo. TFL!

White chocolate "wonder mold" cake on top of 8" round. Iced in teal buttercream, smoothed using the Melvira method. Purple scrolls in b/c. The peacock feathers are made of light pink royal icing, which dried for 5 days then I handpainted the details w/food color & lemon extract. Inserted into cake w/lollipop stick.

This cake was made with 2 12-inch rounds and decorated with B/C and also fondant accents. The bee hive was made with the mini-wonder mold pan and then also decorated with B/C. My customer asked for something girly with lots of spring flowers and this is what I came up with; this is now my new favorite cake! I love Cake Central, it so easy to find inspiration here!

This is my first time using fondant to cover a cake. Actually it's my first time ever making a cake like this. I had a good time making it, it was for a co-workers birthday. I used a 10x10x3 square for the bottom and a 6x6x3 for the top.
