Completely inspired by VickiC's fabulous cake. I couldn't find the confetti ghosts anywhere, so it's missing that important detail. Everything is edible and the big ol' ghost is rice krispy treats.

I made this at work with the help of someone else. We both worked on making the cat...I made the top of the pumpkin and he made the bottom. He made the bottom sides and I hand painted the scene and did the spider webs and ghosts. This was a wedding cake for a bride who told us she was having a Halloween wedding but that we could choose what to do for her cake. So we had fun. The photo of the cat part came out a bit dark...I think I need fresh batteries in my camera.

MMF and BC decorations, FBCT windows each with a different Halloween personality. Broomstck and bubbling cauldron are both MMF and BC and the graveyard on the left is MMF and the pumpkin patch on the right is BC. The spiders are all BC hanging from their webs. Its hard to tell but there are 4 pillars and then the cake is square and then there is another 4 inch cake on top , On each of the 5 total pillars there are tea lights to be lit on halloween.

I made these cookies using the cutters I got from Michaels in the big tub for $9.99. They are my favorite Betty Crocker sugar cookies with royal icing.

Total copy of VickiC's cake...but hers is SO much better!! Thanks for posting your cake VickiC!! I'd had a little too much coffee and my side piping and borders got a little wonky on me...LOL. Made for the cakewalk at my son's school's fall festival. Orange butter cake, layers brushed with Grand Marnier and dark chocolate frosting.

Thanks to Doug for helping me with this and thanks to Fairytale for the inspiration! This is my take on Fairytales gingerbread haunted house. Two of the cakes are marble and the roof is chocolate. All iced in buttercream with gumpaste accents (ghosts, pumpkins, fence). Filled with buttercream too.
Thanks for looking!

This was inspired by someone's pumpkin patch picture (I'm sorry. I can't remember whose cake it was...) It is a 10" round vanilla cake with buttercream frosting. The fence, tombstones, tree, ghost, and pumpkins are all fondant/gumpaste mix.

the cake is bigger than it looks - 2 standard 8" cakes, plus another 8" cake on the top that has been carved to give the curve of the head. The cake are separated and stacked to make cutting easier. Nowi just hope I get it to the party in one piece - it's heavy!

By total accident I have a topsy turvy cake. My cake sank! It's all decorated in BC and accented with a Fondant Ghost, Tombstone, Bat and Pumpkin. The Fall leaves on the tree are candy sprinkles individually placed but the green ones are BC. I ran out of icing to color in different colors,.. it was an afterthought. The Ghost, Tombstone, Bat and Spider/Webs are all accented with Silver Luster Dust. Enjoy the photo,.. it was fun to make and the kids can't wait to eat it!

We decided to go to a potluck at the last minute today, so I had to throw something together. This was a great way to use up some MMF that I needed to use. Cupcakes with BC grass, crushed chocolate graham cracker dirt and MMF ghosts. These actually won a prize for "Most Fancy" food! I didn't even know they were giving awards. Everyone just loved them!

3D ghost made with one layer of Banana Cream Dream cake and three layers of Chocolate Mocha Liqueur cake. BC icing covered in a "sheet" of fondant. Gumpaste chain airbrushed with silver luster dust. Can't see the puple pearl dust accents in this picture, but looked really cool and irredescent with the purple lights! Suspended a bowl with dry ice in the stand for fog around cake. Really spooky looking with all the ambiance at the party. Toughest cake ever to transport without breaking! Thanks for looking.

This is my topsy turvy halloween cake. The pumpkins are fondant with a clove stuck in each one for the stem. The cats, bats, ghosts are gumpaste. The big cat and moon on top are made with gumpaste also. The grass and fences are buttercream. HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEEEEEN!!

This is a cookie decorated by my step-son, Christopher. Chris is 11 and I think he did a pretty good job! I had to buy a cookie kit instead of making cookies this time, because we had to take my step-sons back to their mom.

My step-son, Matthew decorated his ghost cookie orange with sprinkles. I think it is cute. Matthew is 10. I usually make everything from scratch, however, today I didn't have time before my step-son's had to leave. We bought this decorate a cookie kit from a store. It came with pre-baked cookies, premade icing, and different sprinkles

These were a few of the two dozen cookies I made for my daughter's Pre-K class. They are MMF with royal icing. I decided, since my writing isn't great when decorating, to make their names squiggle. Thought it added to the spooky theme.
