I used Kathy Scott's method of making petit fours. Really easy and pretty fast. It uses a chocolate mold, cutter and silicon mold for the floral tops.

This cake did not turn out like I wanted it to. This was for one of the check out ladies at the
grocery store. She absolutely loved the cake but I thought I could have done a better job.
Atleast she liked it. WASC with buttercream.

This is a small 3-tiered cake with matching petit fours. The cake and petit fours are covered in rolled fondant. There's a wire topper with fondant beads, but it's hard to see in the picture. I made the stripes on the bottom with a herb mincer, and it worked really well.

First of all let me say THANK YOU to everyone that helped, advised and encouraged me with this cake. All buttercream with satin ribbon. Everything went ok. The big cake slid on the plate during delivery but was fine. The bride was happy so I'm happy.

First Batch of my first petit 4s. These were for a baby shower I went to, and go with the green bee petit 4s. I baked 2 cakes to make them, and this cake had a bunch of air bubbles in it. I'll be sure to get those out next time. I just kept the 'holy' ones in the box and displayed the prettier ones. These were 1.5 "x 1.5". Method used was to bake, thinly ice with buttercream, freeze 12 hrs, cut, pour glaze. They were yummy!
