I did this for my daughter's 3 BDay. My Husband had just gotten home from Iraq and we decided to go Big!! She was so excited. I used fondant on both layers and the dress with buttercream accents. And I brushed cake sparkles onto barbies dress. And I added pink to the fountain water. It was a big hit with everyone!!

This is my reproduced version of Wilton's 11 tier wedding cake with fountain. It was a lot of work, but worth it in the end. :)

This wedding cake was for a friend of mine. It is the first time I used a staircase and I don't think I'm a fan, but it turned out very pretty and the bride was happy. The crosses are turqouiose and are accented with edible pearls.

This is the "near freebie" cake I did for my hubby's friend. I'm glad I didn't charge much because I was in a bit over my head and it didn't rurn our anywhere NEAR as nice as I'd hoped! All are real cakes except the 16 inch round on the bottom. Covered in buttercream basketweave and borders. Satellite cakes have gumpaste roses

All layers are covered in buttercream. The doll's dress was made to match the guest of honor's dress. The carriage is from the ball pan. The horses and carriage wheels are cookies. The reins are plastic pearl strands. The stars and grape clusters are rolled fondant.

This wedding cake was from the Wilton's Wedding book. It was a lot of cake!!! Orange Creamsicle and Red Velvet and Cream Cheese filling. It is hard to see in the photo, but there are fresh red roses and rose petals. The icing was in white and black, as it was for a black tie wedding! Thanks for looking!

My 2nd wedding cake, and this was the request! Only designed to feed 100-110 or so people, so this was a lot of smaller tiers. What an experience this was! My icing kept bulging on the sides - must have been the humidity - and issues with the fountain - well, I won't even go there!! Anyway, bride loved it, and she said there was not one slice left over. Flavors were lemon w/ lemon buttercream, white choc sr cream w/ vanilla buttercream, and french vanilla with strawberry cream cheese.

This is a cake that is using the Wilton tailored tiers cake display set. I put pictures into the middle layers of years of memories for the couple. They never had a wedding cake so I got to make them their first wedding cake 50 years later, I counted that a priveledge. It could've looked better, but they were hapy, so I won't complain. The top and bottom layer is white, the middle is chocolate cake. All BC icing. I also provided the punch fountain along with the water fountain to go under the cake.

I love this setup - no dowelling!! :) First time using a fountain, needed to make a ring of flowers to conceal the ugly base. Had some trouble adjusting the flow so it wasn't splashing water all over the table. We had to throw away about a dozen of the printed napkins :(
French vanilla sour cream cake on one side, and classic chocolate cake on the other, all iced in BC.

This cake is decorated with buttercream icing and royal icing drop flowers. The lady who ordered it showed me a similar cake her daughter adored in a 1970's Wilton catalog. I modified it by making all of the tiers round and changing the tufts of tulle on the columns. I also made the topper because the birthday girl wanted a 16 on the top of the cake. The birthday girl was alated and her party guests ohhed and awwed and said I want a cake like that for my birthday. I was proud!

Fondant covered cake with fountain and orange roses. Baby roses were used on top tier and larger roses for the rest. The bride was extremely happy with how it turned out.

Enjoy :)

This was the cake that we ended up with at my brothers wedding. It took four months to plan and practice and prepare for, but the end product was well worth it. Seven two layer cakes, 3-6in 3-9in and the 12 in, all round with BC frosting and MMF accents. The flowers matched the bridal bouquets, all silk. Everyone was thrilled with the outcome, and you can bet that I was much more relaxed at the reception than I have been in four months!

This cake by far was the most challenging or should i say the
largest wedding cake I have done. It was for my son's wedding. It turned out
great and I am so proud of myself. They loved it and everyone at the wedding couldn't believe that I made it. Every cake was a different flavor. I had some issues with them but by far I am very pleased. Thanks for looking.

This cake is pretty much straight out of one of the Wilton wedding cake books. The bride brought me the picture and said "I want that one, just how it is." Easiest consultation I've ever had! LOL

This was a fun cake to do. My sister & I put it together. Everyone enjoyed the multiple of flavors used. White w/ Strawberry filling, White w/ Lemon, Carrot w/ Cream Cheese, Chocolate w/ Caramel (Carmel is tricky we tried to make it from scratch, it tasted awful, we ended up with a different filling & throwing the caramel away next time I'll just use that nummy ice cream topping!) The fountain was one bought from the garden center at Walmart then spray painted and glittered, then filled with crystal rocks.

From a Wilton wedding cakes book. All white and chocolate cakes with coconut and chocolate fillings, done for an OUTdoor (in a barn) wedding in the heat of summer. All BC with royal roses and silk flowers. You can't see in the picture, but each tier had *5* different borders to pipe, which I realized that at about midnight! It took forever and gave me hand cramps, but I loved how it turned out.

Here is a close up of the bottom tier. This is the one that they cut. The plate it was on had legs and started to slide on them as they cut. Guess I know better if there is a next time.

This is a Wilton Cake Design. It is buttercream with silk flowers and pearls. This is the biggest wedding cake I've done so far. We had to have a friend come help carry it.
