this cake consisted of one ten inch round, 8 six inch rounds, 1 fourteen inch petal, and a 12 inch round topped by a fountain and greenery- the keepsake cake was separate. The cake was transported from my home to the reception site at least an hour away.

This was for a small wedding for 35. 10" base cake with 6" topper. I was afraid the cake would look lost on top of the fountain, but maybe not too bad.....bride provided western themed topper and the little bales of hay (so cute!).

16" and 8" WASC, 12" lemon poppyseed w/ chocolate Kahlua filling, 2 10" white chocolate cake w/ strawberry creamcheese filling, and 2 8" carrot cakes w/ cream cheese filling. Largest wedding cake I have made yet and boy was I nervous but everything was ok, despite that fact that on the way to the site dh slammed on the brakes sending the 16" into the grooms cake. I was able to fix it and nobody noticed.

This was my second attempt at fondant. I got this idea from one of the other beautiful cakes I saw on here, thank you yourstrulytx ! My cousin found this cake online and asked if I could do it like this, or something similar, so this was my best attempt and my second try at fondant (first time doing fondant on round cakes). My aunt insisted on having the fountain, although I think it is just a tad bit overkill...

An outdoor wedding at 4 p.m. in the Mississippi heat. Does ANYBODY know how stressful that is when you see your cake melting in front of you? The back side of this cake was facing the sun as it went down. Well, the back of the cake was going down at the same time.... I will never do another outdoor wedding in this kind of heat.

First of all let me say THANK YOU to everyone that helped, advised and encouraged me with this cake. All buttercream with satin ribbon. Everything went ok. The big cake slid on the plate during delivery but was fine. The bride was happy so I'm happy.

I made this for my grammy's 75th Birthday this weekend. I put this picture in this section because I thought that it would make a good wedding cake to. The cake was (top two) Vanilla, (large bottom) chocolate, (three sattelite cake) spanish cake with pineapple filing. The roseses are real roses ad the cakes had a yellow ribbon for the bottom boarder.

6/8/10/12 squares, all BC, navy blue ribbon with silk roses provided by bride over a fountain. When I set this up, the facility person said, "A fountain? We dont' get many of those!" hahaha! Quilted the bottom tier using skewer sticks, with silver dragees. Silver dragees also scattered on the top tier basketweave.

This cake is resting on an acryliic base with a fountain. The 16" base cake has strawberry filling and is decorated with buttercream, the next 12" layer has lemon filling and is decorated with buttercream and cherubs and roses, an acryliic separation holds the 8" cake and topper. Staircases connect to two satellite cakes, which are 12" and 8" stacked and decorated with cherubs and roses filled with coconut nut/strawberry fillings. The plastic staircases are filled with the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

This is the wedding cake I made for my youngest son's wedding. There are
11 different cakes, each a different flavor. Everything is BC except the roses
on the tops, between layers, and around the fountain, which are gumpaste
brushed with luster dust
