I made this cake for my son's 10th birthday. He was in his first year of football at the time. It didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. It's white cake with BC icing.

I wish I had chosen a different color for my background color, the white looks so plain..... I used rice paper for the design and star tip to fill in the football... It tasted good though.. This is still a learning experience for me. Thanks for looking!

This is a 12"x18" sheet with an 8" in the corner in BC. The green is Wilton's spray color. This is for a graduation party for a kid that was on the football team so the small cake has the image of his helmet, a ball, and his number.

My son did this cake last year when he was 8, when I was first starting the Wilton courses. I always bake the extra batter and let the boys have their fun with that if their in the mood for decorating lol.

I picked up the football pan for $1.00, so I had to try it out. French van. w/ buttercream (my daughters favorite) covered in chocolate MMF (I had to get chocolate in there somewhere). Husband and son thought it was cool so $1 well spent.

I used a t-shirt shaped tin and covered it in red sugarpaste. The England badge was from the wallpaper (spare) of my son's bedroom. My son and his friend were 5, which is the number on the shirt and the footballs on the board are candles.

I did the Bronco freehand. The "fans" are candy sprinkles. This would have been much easier if I had known about FBCT. My son liked it anyway.

This cake is based off a Wilton cake (http://www.wilton.com/recipes/recipesandprojects/add_pans/rising.cfm). It's the goodyear blimp and a football field. I had so much fun making this cake! It's for my extended family which has 6-7 birthdays this month!

4 layer white cake with vanilla pudding filling. 1/4 Sheet cake. Buttercream icing. It was my first fbct. I learned a lot, i guess i shouldn't have been so afraid to push the icing down smooth. It turned out okay, all kinds of things went wrong before i got there. Some of the shells on the corners fell off, my 18 mo old baby attacked it with a hairbrush, before i got it to the destination the side started to slide a little from the heat. They loved it anyway.
