Yes, it leans a little bit. I forgot to put dowel rods in it, so i had to take it back apart and stack it again. LOL. My first attempt at a fondant bow too!!And it's really hard to get the circles to maintain their shape when trying to lift them off the mat onto the cake!

I do not like to do wedding cakes!! I was asked to make a 2 tier cake, with royal blue and silver as the colors, bride supplied the topper, I wanted to do daisey bouquet, but she wanted the old fashioned topper. I erased the background of the picture as it had my kitchen door and a bottle of glue in the background, I forgot to take my camera when I delivered it, it would have been more pretty of a pic if it would have been taken at the venue.

I made this for fun because I wanted to try out my new eyelet cutters. I guess it could be used for baby shower, bridal shower or make larger scale for a wedding cake.

9x13 Double layer chocolate cake with raspberry BC filling and caramel vanilla BC frosting. Fondant bow. Husband's co-worker asked for a cake with a specific flavor request, but gave me creative control, perfect for a first-timer! The bow was easy to make and I think I did a good job on the border, but I just can't seem to get my BC to crust so that I can smooth it well. Oh well, it was a first of many to come......I hope!

Given free reign to design a cake for baby shower - only request was it was 'boy'ish. In my head, this was going to be light blue and chocolate.. funny how things rarely turn out how I picture them. Many thanks to CC members for inspiration. BC iced, with fondant accents.

This is the first big bow I have made. I had intended to put it at the base of my topsy-turvy cake, but it broke on the way to the state fair.

Bottom cake is chocolate covered in Chocolate Modeling Clay. Top cake is white covered in White Chocolate Modeling Clay. The bow and ribbons are made from 50/50 White Chocolate Modeling Clay & Gumpaste. The cake colors are a near perfect match for the colors the Mom is painting the baby's room.

Here's a cake I made for a friend's bridal shower. Second time working with fondant! Her flowers were going to be blue hydrangeas and the bridesmaids dresses were champagne colored. So I made a champagne colored bow on light blue fondant.

Chocolate cake with alternating fillings (cream cheese in the chocolate bc squares and choc bavarian in the white bc rounds). Brown fondant bow. Had some trouble, but the bride and groom liked it (and didn't even notice the few issues that I had).

This was for a 3rd grade girl and her grandmother who are sharing a birthday party. The girl is in my daughter's class and attended my daughter's b-day party and wanted a cake like hers. She's been so excited all week, she's been talking to my daughter about what she wanted. I've tried to incorporate all she wanted, but needed it age appropriate for grandma, too.

Pumpkin cake with BC Icing. I made it for a Harvest Bake Off at a local Church tomorrow. 1 cake will be auctioned and the other will be judged and sliced to sell. I used SugarShack's icing recipe and methods. It worked great. I'm pleased how smooth the icing turned out. (Until I stuck my finger in it by mistake! ) Thanks for looking.
