This is my first gumpaste lily. It was also my first wired flower. So fun! I can't wait to try again. :) I made this cake for my brother's girlfriend for her birthday. This was one of those times where everything was going wrong and I wasn't sure it would get done! After I was finished I was so relieved! :) Although there are a lot of flaws I am happy with how it turned out considering all of the problems I had! It is a 6" & 8" white cake with strawberry mousse filling.

This cake was a request I had from a client that was really on short notice! So I had very little time to decorate and so I made it very simple but also cute I think.

This 1950's themed cake was a Paleo cake - no sugar or wheat flour, but used coconut flour, honey, and grapeseed oil and eggs. The icing is also Paleo and the whole cake was so delicious! The decorations are gumpaste and the border is candy (I ran out of icing late at night!)

A Mary Englebreit inspired birthday cake for my mother in law. :0) 9" chocolate cake with French vanilla creme filling, buttercream frosting. And marshmallow fondant decorations. Was a big hit at our family dinner, mostly because the nieces and nephew wanted to eat all that fondant, ha ha.

Bottom tier is alternating layers of vanilla almond chocolate chip cake and chocolate oreo cake filled with dark chocolate buttercream and crushed oreos. Top tier is alternating layers of vanilla funfetti and vanilla almond chocolate chip filled with dark chocolate buttercream and mini chocolate chips. Iced in vanilla buttercream icing with mmf flowers.

Made this for a friend of my daughter's who had a baby girl named Violet. I had a hard time photographing this...why does violet tend to turn blue? Any way it looked much better in person. This was a small 6" vanilla cake with raspberry filling. The 'pot' is buttercream...and yes,it's meant to look a little rough textured! :D. I have cookie crumbs in the pot and the flowers and leaves are a mix of fondant and gum paste.
