Well, not the best picture, and this cake almost didn't happen due to a horrible migraine, but all in all I think it came out ok.

made each one a cake for the real party. They loved it.Didn't have time to make a Fondant Tractor so i just dugged into the toyboxes at the last minut.
However, I'm not a fan of platic toys on cakes. Like everything to be edible.

This is a cake I did for my twins when they turned 4. One was into tractors, and the other horses. My daughter still loves horses. It was a simple but fun cake to make. The second cake I've ever done.

This was a tough one. Used boxed cake which was way too soft to stand up on the dowels which poked through the barn and needed to be "covered" with icing. The animals are all royal icing, which was fun, but I can see from others on this site that fondant would have been much cuter.

cousin's daughters birthday; a haybale with hats from michaels craft section and farm toys from discount store; fork used to create haystrands. BC frosting; rubbermaid "lid" used for cake base and the bottom of the container used for cake "lid" had to package it this way because it was being transported 4 hours out of my hands and around alot of kids; makes a great cake carrier!

I had a request for a baby farm animals baby shower cake... The cake is covered in MMF with all the animals made of chocolate clay. The barn is Rice Krispie Treats formed into the shape when warm, then covered in chocolate clay. The fence is made of mmf also.

Barn made from doghouse pan; silo made from ding-dongs stacked; and animals mostly royal icing. My favorite is the standing sheep made from a jumbo marshmallow with pretzel legs and royal icing body parts - but the chickens were fun too!

Thanks to Sugarshack for the inspiration on this one. I think I was making this cake from the same invites she did! Anyway.. fondant/gumpaste RI accents. I forgot to take a pic of the smash cake for the birthday girl which was a pile of hay with a rooster. Very cute. OH WELL.

These are out of the Wilton 2007 handbook. I made 6 of each critter for my baby's first birthday. There are cookies for the heads and feet. All BC. The rooster and chicken were just highlighted on last week's "Bake, Decorate, Celebrate!" They used chocolate rounds for the heads.
