Thi is one of my first FBCT attempted. This cake was red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. So, instead of trying to decorate with the cream cheese icing, I just enlarged a clip art picture and did a FBCT. Sooooo easy! Made this for a surprise birthday party given for a man and his wife.

This is my version of Debbie Brown's enchanted tree cake. I also got some ideas from other CC'ers and threw in a few ideas of my own. I loved the looks of these cakes and was dying to try one. It was so much fun. Now what do I do with it?!?!?!? haha

This cake was inspired by a cake done by Florimbio for a child's spa party. Carved from two ovals (smallest and next size up in set). Constructed like my Mario and Buzz cakes. I liked this cake much better BEFORE the mud mask. I think the color (which customer requested) just doesn't work for me. I would have preferred green :( Oh well. Lips and board decos are all chocolate.

The theme of the shower was "polka-dots", so I incorporated them in to the designs as much as I could. The baby face cookies are made from a lemon-shaped cookie cutter...I copied the idea from www.popcornpapa.com

Bit of a hap-hazard cake! Couldnt decide what to do. The remit was Bratx Pixie and the rest left up to me. It is a pair of pixie wings with a bratz face over. In the end the birthday girl loved it. All fondant.

My 1st Thomas. A big thanks to Merissa for the tips/style and the lead on the tutorial. I used an 11x15 chocolate and almond bc. MMF face and covered/accents. Carved while still pretty frozen and then made the blunder of covering w/fondant before fully thawed. Caused tacky spots all over for about 3 hours. Dried fine, but cause air pockets and shifting which affected the accents by moving some lines. Managed to save it though, and everyone loved it.

I made this for my sister's baby shower. 6" round on 8" square, all fondant except the pacifier. This was only the 2nd cake I've totally covered with fondant...the other one being in my Wilton class! Everyone loved how it came out!

My son fell Sun at church and hit his head on a table. He had a very large laceration to his forehead that required sedation and extensive repair. The doctor and staff were so wonderful. We made them this cake as a token of our appreciation. The smiley face and bandaid are MMF. So is the suture needle. The suture is dental floss. It's very hard to see because it's white.

The tie dye was easier than I was expecting it be and I really got the hang of it when I was finished! Flag on top with peace symbol of dragee stars. Customer wanted the cake to make the invitations. Other than my flag falling off my skewer flag pole, it turned out ok. TFL!

Used the 9" ball pan and then built up the face using fondant. Was quite simple and quick to do and I am really pleased with how it turned out.

First attempt at a cake resembling a person. I made it for a friend who is a chef and owns a bakery. They specialize in breads and pastries, no cakes!

Credit for this design goes to MrsMom. She was kind enough to share her idea with me. This cake was fun to make and I loved how it came together. White cake with BC. 8 inch square bottom and 6 inch round (single layer). Decorations are fondant except for real pacifier. I added some extra details for the base cake and may have gone a little overboard, but they wanted something a little jazzy looking. TFL!

I often do cakes with pictures of people's faces. When four kids were sharing the same birthday party, I came up with this idea. They got a kick out of it.

Made for my 4 yr olds birthday. I'm not completely sold on the design, it looked better in my minds eye. Anyhow it's supposed to be hello kitty's face from any angle/side if that makes sense. Cake is coconut w/raspberry filling and coconut icing. Any comments/input are absolutely welcome. Thanks.

This masterpiece was designed, created and eaten by a 3-year old.

Form decorating clay into fun, delicious decorations. Use extruders with the decorating clay to form hair and a mouth and use cutters to form eyes and a nose.
