This cake was such a success for me. I made my neice and AWFUL first birthday cake so this year i was nervous and wanted it to be spectacular. I wasnt happy with the icing texture (i usually get a really great pattern but it was choppy this time) but the chocolate transfers came out sooo amazing. I just bought a printer but am waiting for santa to deliver my ink and everyone though it was printed not hand drawn which i found to be a great compliment. Thanks for looking.

The birthday girl was very protective of this cake. One of her invited guests came very close to touching the cake and little Micah slapped her hand away and said, "don't touch".
Idea borrowed from a few different cakes on CC. Thanks all for the inspiration. Chocolate Dora and Boots, flowers, bridge and borders. Fondant rocks, path, water, letters, and stripes. Buttercream tree and grass. Chocolate butter cake covered in Orange Creamsicle IMBC.

I made this cake for my little girl's birthday. I used royal icing to make a hard decoration to put on top of the cake. The color of the underlying icing bled through a little, so I will wait until right before serving to add the decoration next time. :)

Friend wanted a Dora cake for her child with additional needs that was very much just a clear interpretation of Doras face. Very quick to do. Just cut shapes of fondant and built it up. Used Icecraft Sugarpaste - I cannot recommend it enough!!

This is three layers of vanilla cake each dyed a different color, with a chocolate chip buttercream filling, and a chocolate buttercream icing. There are chocolate rocks, a blue piping gel lake and waterfall, and the rest is made out of gumpaste. This was for my niece's 4th birthday. In addition to this cake there were 5 separate pieces to the cake, that when all combined made an 18" round cake. Each individual piece was covered in white fondant so the kids could decorate their own piece. They had a blast!
