This is my first character cake. I made it for my 2 year ols who LOVES her Mo-MO as she calls him. It's a white chocolate decadence cake filled with and iced in white chocolate butter cream with rolled b/c nose.

I didn't have the Wilton pan for this cake so I free-handed it. It was a lot of fun.

Elmo's head is the ball pan, carved. His body is a small round cake with a half ball on top for roundness. I didn't have room for his legs, LOL, and she didn't need that much cake. The whole thing is covered in BC fur using the grass tip.

This cake was made to go along with an Elmo themed party. The mother had an elmo cake topper to go on it. This was inspired by another Elmo cake I saw on CC.

This cake goes along with the Cookie monster cake, an orange crunch smash cake made out of the mini bear pan. Made a fondant cookie for Elmo to sit on. Elmo's nose took a wrong turn, but otherwise I thought he was pretty cute!

I was inspried by a fellow CCer, but tweaked the idea a bit. Elmo is pulling the fondant riboon off of the present smash cake sitting in the center of this sheet cake. Elmo's party hat is an ice cream cone, and the little dots are suppose to look like confetti.

I did this cake for a friend's little girl turning 2. The party is Elmo/Ooopsy the clown. Cake is white almond sour cream, icing faux fondant II. Dorothy, name sign, and Ooopsy are frozen buttercream transfers. Elmo is a cookie inspired by ChicosMom. He is 5 cookies iced in same icing as cake. Each cookie is on stick. The fish bowl idea is from Woman's Day magazine, I just adapted it to elmo (Nerds for rocks, fruit roll-up plants). Ooopsy is her little smash cake. Thanks for looking!

Used the Wilton Elmo pan. Trying to get the right red color for the frosting involved a lot of angst but using the grass/fur tip made up for it!

This was for my son's 2nd birthday, who loves Sesame Street and Elmo. I got the idea for the Skittles around the border from another Sesame Street cake on Cake Central, which I thought was fun and whimsical!

This was an Elmo cake that I airbrushed. It was so much better then red icing. It had no bitter taste and didn't stain like the red icing does.

6' choc with bc and mmf elmo with bc piped for the fur. I just needed practice and decided to make this for a friend's daughter that just got out of the hospital. I thought the squiggly border would look like crayon scribbles.

This is my first tiered cakeand first cake over 9 in. in size. I'm not really happy at all with how it turned out, but I had so many problems with baking it that I ended up being really rushed and tired at the end. Oh well, live and learn I guess.
P.S.- Date on camera is wrong this is from 2/25/2007

Bottom is a 10" round the the doll pan and the head is a round ball pan. Then I started carving. The arms and legs are fondant and the eyes and nose. The rest is buttercream. I use the grass tip for the body.
