This didn't quite turn out how I planned... first attempt at pretty much everything from the recipe (carrot of course - what else would rabbits eat??) to the spray colour... guess that's what experimenting is all about!

BC with MMF eggs on sides and top and MMF bunny. I would've tapped the points down on the border, but the lady called and said that she would be here earlier than expected so I actually had to do the border with her standing here.

I found a few more of those 70's Hallmark cutters. Those things are so great!! They match the other retro Easter cookies in my gallery. Someone from CC told me that the girl was supposed to be holding a basket, but I just couldn't see it. Therefore, I made it a chick in both of the photos. I figured it matched the boy with the bunny :)

bugs bunny cake with an easter touch. i added some eggs since it's so close to easter. vanilla with white chocolate ganache. i cheated a little bit. i run out of patience. it taked waaaayyyy too many carrots to cover the cake! so, i used orange BC to pipe most of the carrots first and the added fondant carrots on top.
i love debbie brown! i have only two of her books so far, but i will end up with everything she ever puts out there.

This was inspired by those wonderful Panoramic Sugar Eggs (which I've made too!) This was made out of cream cheese frosting, the bow is fondant/gumpaste. Happy Easter! I hollowed a bit off the top and put the little bunny inside.

Should have spent more time on these (were for nephew's grade 2 class) but awful as it sounds, the kids just gobble up-not like they run home and say 'mom, i want her to make my bday cake' lol- good practice anyway lol. Penny's cookie/RI recipe. Presented to class in ribbon decorated easter basket. Gotta say I liked working with penny's recipe better than NFSC one. kids loved the taste, except nephew but he's weird LMAO

This was my first attempt at decorating a cake, and with Easter coming up I decided to go with that theme. It's four 8" layers - two devil's food and two Southern Heirloom, iced entirely in buttercream. The eggs are candy-coated chocolate that I purchased.

I made these two Lamb cakes for my neighbor children for Easter this year. One is strawberry cake and the other is wasc. All bc icing on both. Choc eggs are wasc and strawberry covered in ganache with royal and bc decorations. Crosses on Lambs are royal with gold dragees.

The cake is lemon cake with cheesecake filling. The eggs are NFSC with Royal Icing. My husband says it doesn't exactly look like an Easter baset, b/c it doesn't have a handle, but I wasn't exactly sure what I could have used for a handle. I am happy with how it turned out.

Someone in the forum mentioned that they were thinking of making Easter eggs out of cake balls so I had to try it. I used my leftover cake scraps, crumbed it up and then added Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee Mate. I covered it with buttercream instead of chocolate candy melts. It still produces a deliciously moist cake! Thanks for the suggestion!
