I put this in the Wedding Cake Category.......seems more fitting for the look of the cake! Bottom tier, white chocolate cake with raspberry filling, middle tier is chocolate cake with buttercream filling, top tier is white cake with strawberry filling. All buttercream icing with edible fondant pearls and silk flowers. Served 140. Thanks you to all those who helped me succeed with this one by giving me suggestions and tips!!

I used an edible image for this cake. I used butterflies printed on wafer paper that I cut out, spread with piping gel, and coated with clear sparkles.

This was done for my niece's BF's HS graduation. His truck is in the shop being painted, but his Mom wanted it on his cake. Since it is not finished I had to search for a replica in the right color to use for his edible image. The phot is comprised of at least 4 different graphics cut and layered to give the final picture. He and his family LOVED this cake!

I had these grand plans of buildings that extended higher than the cake and RI webs that went from the buildings to the cupcakes. Nothing dried after a 5 day wait so this was the compromise. I wish you could see the cupcake wrapper better. I used dark chocolate and then dusted with midnight blue lusterdust. It looked great. I had to tell 3 or 4 guests that they didn't have to unwrap them that it was edible. All in all the customer and the 3 year old were VERY happy...and that is really all that matters .

My daughter asked me at the last minute to bake her friend a Sweet 16 birthday cake. Luckily, I already had 2 rounds baked. I only had 90 minutes to ice and decorate the cake before her friend was stopping by. The cake is iced in buttercream and decorated with fondant (Satin Ice) accents. The roses are the simple rounds that you roll up. Leaves are buttercream. Photo is an edible image printed with Epson C88+ on a Kopykake frosting sheet.

This is my first wedding cake and the reason I started learning how to decorate cakes. I had a goal to make my sister's wedding cake and I am so happy that everything I learned at my classes and on CC paid off! Carrot cake with buttercream frosting, handmade fondant pearls (560 of them...it took forever!), with satin ribbon and buttercream scrolls. I am hooked now...can't wait to make another wedding cake!

These are peanutbutter cookies with edible art on them. I guilded the edges to give them a more "Rich" look. Pictures are ships and scenes from the game that our friends are building. They work so hard we thought we'd surprise them with a treat. This one is going to one of the girls in the office who is allergic to chocolate, but loves peanut butter. I'm also making a "Treasure Chest" full of goodies for the rest of the gang. I'll post that tomorrow sometime when it's finished.

Full sheet cake with 2 6" on top. For an Army change of command ceremony. Half wasc, half triple chocolate fudge. Cakes on top were strawberry. All iced in whipped BC. Edible images.
This was a huge cake, and surprisingly took a lot of time, despite looking simple!

This cake was RUSHED for the 1st birthday of a children's party place. All buttercream dots on the sides to look like the balls in a ball pit and edible image on top. Looks kinda messy because I was dotting icing on the sides at mach 5 speed!

This is a plate of baking that I put together for the Teacher Appreciation Lunch at the kids' school. I had to make cupcakes for another project and decided to send some to the school, so of course I used them to practice some techniques that I was dying to try i.e. rice paper butterflies and Starburst candy roses. I was very pleased on how everything came out. With some more practice perhaps, they'd be mastered (especially the bodies). Thanks for looking.
