The image is a sugar sheet. The cake is covered in fondant and airbrushed. Next time I will be brave enough to have it stand up. I'm still a rookie =) Thank you for all of the great ideas!

Customer wanted to incorporate the brithday girl's many interests, but wanted to keep costs down (so, couldn't make little fondant balls, ballet shoes, etc.) I came up with the idea to do edible images, and wrap it all up with a bow.

I made this cake for my Barony in the SCA. It was 30th year of being a Barony.

The two people at the top of the cake our our current Baron and Baroness with their coat of arms and the dates they have been Coronets.

The bottom part of the cake lists the Baron and Baronesses for the last 30 years. I also included pictures of the coat of arms for each person.

The whole thing is an edible image.

As truck drivers, we use Trip Paks to send in all of our paperwork so that we can get paid.

The lady that deals with those Trip Paks turned 50 on the 14th so I made a cake to take back to North Dakota (from Washington State) so they can all celebrate at work.

The whole think is an edible image.

We made these in our office using our new Silhouette electronic cutter and our Icing Images edible printer! Using the SIlhouette program, were able to pick the flower, fill it with a gradient pattern, print it on our Premium Icing Sheet with our Icing Images Printer and then the SIlhouette knew exactly where to cut it! It was awesome!

This is a 6" fondant cake (callebaut chocolate stout cake with jameson whisky swiss meringue buttercream). It is wrapped in a collage of NJ signs and iconic images. Toppers are fondant and hand sculpted - some inspiration take from Molly & Charuca for the figurines.

My husband surrounded by his dream ladies for his 40th birthday. His photo was printed on a frosting sheet (worked great). The vintage pin up photos are printed on rice paper (not as good as the frosting sheets--can still feel the texture). Both the pre-printed images were purchased from two different Etsy sellers.
