I made this cake for my boss at work. The dress is fondant...and it was my first time using it. I got the design idea from CC.

I did this in a hurry & although I measured, couldn't get the bodice all
the way down. This was paired with the matching hat cake for a
Fashion Merchandising graduate.

This was my first attempt at a doll cake. I only put one cake mix in the pan so it's a bit smaller than it's supposed to be. I wasn't going to frost it but decided to last minute just for fun...

I was inspired by a photo in an ACD magazine from last summer, but I know that tons of people have also done cakes like this. It was a fun cake to do. Cakes were round and half ball pan, covered in fondant, detail work on bottom of dress was RI, edible pearls up the back for buttons and along the bodice. The cake was actually done for a wedding album party where group of moms get together and look at each others wedding pictures. They said "surprise" them with a cake. White Almond Sour Cream Cake

This was supposed to be a pink princess, but the birthday girl won't make it to today's picnic, so it turned into "Liberty Girl" overnight! All fondant & buttercream. The dress is chocolate cake and the base is butter cake, both with raspberry cream filling. Thanks to gladds for her help!

Cake for baby girl baptism. All decorations edible except present lid. Lid is really styrofoam underneath. Bottom cake is largest oval pan from Wilton set(when I baked it, set it on insulated cookie sheet so cake would not burn - I find this a problem with cheap aluminum cake pans). Present or gift box is smallest oval shape from wilton pan set. Also baked on insulated cookie sheet and used magic strips on both pans to insure even baking.

I made this just for fun. As soon as I saw this picture online I had to make it into a cookie. It is just a regular sugar cookie with royal icing. I used a template to cut it out. I just love it.

This was a cake for a bridal shower. White almond sour cream cake with buttercream icing. This Texas heat is tortur on a cake...AHHHH. The middle circle wanted to slide, I should have staked through the whole cake. Luckily it wasn't a major shift and the border held it in place (so I was told). It had to be set up the night before and you never know what a cake will do overnight!!

okay so it was a last minute decision to celebrate my 13 year old sil birthday on Father's day with the family. It's not the most creative cake but the entire 11 x 15 cake was eaten so I guess that's something. Thanks for looking.
