These are no fail cookie with royal icing. I'd like to thank Antonia and everyone here for all your help with the plaid. I've never done it before and you all really helped me out. These were for a family friend for Saturday. I enjoyed doing the fine detail. This is my first real atempt to do this kind of details. Thanks for looking.

Thanks to Holly Jacobs for the help on this little guy. I knew I wanted to make a dog cake, just how to fit one on a sheet cake was the challenging part. Hope you like it!

Made for my niece's 6th birthday. She asked for pink cake with brown dogs. I used 6 inch cakes for the ends and a 10 inch square for the middle...cut to shape. All decorations are MMF.

This was for my daughter's friend. She wanted her dog on the cake and sent me this picture. I tried to spruce it up a bit in my photo program since it was just a picture of a wet dog!!!!

I did this cake for my neice who just moved out of her house and could not take her dog with her because her parents got way to attached to it, so I made a look a like out of a small bear pan and pretty much winged it. I think it turned out pretty good, My neice loved it and forbid anyone to cut it...

This was a sculpted puppy cake I made for my son's first birthday. The doggy dish on the side was actually an extra cake I thought I needed for the puppy but didn't end up using so I turned it into the doggy dish for my little guy to dig into. I found the idea/instructions online somewhere but this was a year and a half ago and I can't find the info anywhere to give credit!

This is my mother's first cake (I have her permission to post it) from our cake class. She wanted to put a balloon in his mouth but did not have the right colors. We are bringing this cake and the elephant cake to our vet, who helped our dog a lot.

This is a cake that I donated to our school's silent auction. It's just a small cake (inspired by a Debbie Brown creation), but it sold for almost $50!

I made this one for the grade 3 teacher - she loved the first one I made, but did not win it at the silent auction - so I made her one as an end-of-the-year gift. Jelly rolls (store-bought....shhh!) and vanilla cupcakes inside the bone.

Chocolate cake, fudge frosting. The kids help me decorate it for dad with wilton icing writers. Hot dogs and cheeseburgers are from fondant. Cheese is actually taffy that just happened to melt more after it sat overnight!
