This is chocolate, yellow and white cakes sculpted and iced all in buttercream. Fondant accents. I am really proud of this cake, I think it turned out so well. It's for my Supervisor who is being transferred. She has dachsunds, loves the Packers and the Bee is an inside joke!!!

I made this for my step-son's 3rd birthday. The "bun" is just un-iced pound cake. The "dog" is 3 twinkies iced in BC and wrapped in MMF. It was my first attempt at MMF. I will be needing much more practice! :)

This is my first "shaped" cake. I have to admit, I LOVE the way it turned out. I don't know if there is ANYTHING that I would change about it. I can't wait for the birthday girl to see it!

This is the first cupcake wedding I've done. The bride didn't want a traditional cake but she still wanted a topper, so she asked me to make them on their own plaque. The bride & groom models are a dog & a rabbit because the couples pet names are puppy & bunny.

Made today for my sister's 30th birthday, which was yesterday, but we had our family party tonite.

She LOVES her boxer and blacklab, so I threw together this cake immortalizing her boxer in MMF. Everything is edible except the toothpick on the balloon. This was my very first time doing any type of figure modeling. I was pleased with how it turned out, and I can't wait to make some more.

Sour Cream White Cake + Vanilla Buttercream + my very own White Chocolate Cream Cheese Strawberry filling. SO good!

Just a detail of the fondant Cameron (my sis' boxer) for her birthday cake.

You can see the entire cake in my photo album.

This was my first fondant figure. Learned a lot!

For my sister's 30th birthday. I made these for her party last night. It was at a really upscale wine lounge, so I figured that cupcakes would be so much more convenient than a large cake. The giant cupcake was for her, and next to this, I had a cupcake tree (see my photo album for more photos). Didn't have a large cupcake wrapper, so I did the best I could wrapping it with fondant. Needless to say, they were a total hit! So many people want me to do cakes for them now! I put two plastic dogs on each side.

All white cake, 9" and 6", with BC and fondant accents. The doggie was made with MMF and painted w/ Wilton colors. Balloons are also MMF dusted with white sparkle. The cupcake is simply decorated with candy melts done in coordinating colors to the cake. Cake and cupcakes are for a little girl's first birthday..hope the mother likes how it all came out! Thanks for looking.

I modelled Kipper out of sugarpaste and sat him on an 8 inch square cake. Kipper turned out a bit fatter than he should have been but perhaps he had eaten some of the cake.

I left the cake round my friend's house so it would be there when they came back from holiday but their cat took a liking to the box and sat on it. I had to put a bandage on Kipper's ear to repair the damage but my friend thought it was funny!

This is for a co-workers's son for his 21st birthday. Had some help with this one--Doug for the image and Oceanspitfire for the lettering method (royal icing letters placed on cake). The FBCT was really thin, so I'm glad it came out okay. Was going for hunter green, but stopped at darkish green because I almost ran out of coloring! Cake is BC French Vanilla baked with the extender in a 9X13 pan (hooray for Magic Line pans!). Frosting is Dream Whip icing with Hershey's Special Dark cocoa added.

This is the cake I made for my son's second birthday. It is yellow layers with buttercream icing. The characters are royal icing transfers, in which we had a couple of accidents with at the last minute. The figure of Joe and Blue is a candle.

The dog bones are the "No Fail Sugar Cookie" with Cambo's rolled buttercream icing.

This is a grill cake I made for a barbecue. It's chocolate with chocolate filling with a chocolate fudge icing (a recipe I found on here). The grill grate is made of color flow and "painted" black with the color spray. The hot dogs are fondant. The "coals" are licorice, and the flames are buttercream.

I made this cake for a charity that friends of mine run - they train service dogs for children with autism. This was my first BIG cake.....10 cake mixes! I used tip 233 for the dog's hair, and tip 234 for the grass. Eyes, nose, jacket and flowers are MMF; everything else is BC. Thanks to cindy6250 and tripletmom for their instructions!

I am a children's librarian, and recently held a "cake decorating" workshop at our library. The kids got to decorate one of four cupcake designs. Over 150 kids came. I chose simple designs that the younger kids could handle. The kids really enjoyed it, and other libraries are now considering add this program. We used white icing for the base. We used a large mint pattie for the center of the paw, and 3 Junior Mints for the outside.

This is a cake I made for our first football game against our big rival Lavergne. It was to congratulate the band for all their hard work. It is the biggest cake I have done and took forever to finish. It is yellow cake with all buttercream icing.

Birthday cake for 2 siblings and a dog! This was so much fun. I used the sweetheart pan, cut off the points, and used part of an 8 x 8 square cake for the center.

This hot dog was for a BBQ where they were serving hot dogs, corn dogs, adn pretzel dogs. The "meat" is a chocolate-cinnamon jelly roll with peach filling (sounds strange, but was a really yummy combination) frosted in buttercream; the "bun" is a cinnamon spice pound cake, sliced in half. The mustard and ketchup are peach and raspberry preserves and the onion and relish are gum drops.

The idea for this cake came from a cake done by Partiesrus, Thanks !
The base cake is a Chocolate Chocolate Chip cake layered with a Caramilk cake with Nutella filling. The puppy is a Chocolate cake done in the 3D Duck pan, I also used mini bowling pin pans to make the legs, snout and tip of tail from.
