I wanted to make something different from the mostly used Nascar's theme for the Cars Cake and came up with this. The 3 years old birthday boy couldn't stop starring at it. His smile filled my heart with joy.

I won't be making this cake again any time soon. Way too many colors, way too tedious! It took me literally all day to get this thing done (although my 2 kids do slow me down). But still, character cake pans: not for me!
Oh yeah...this was my first paid cake. Although the money will definitely not fairly compensate for the effort. Oh well!

I had a hard time being creative for this princess cake. I'm not very artistic, so I bought the figurines at my local grocery store bakery and VOILA!

Little Einsteins and Rocket are celebrating my son's second Birthday!
11x13 cake is two vanilla mixes. round bottom of rocket is a 10" cake made from just one (white) mix. The round part of Rocket is a half ball pan and Red Velvet.
All icing is ButterCream and I flavored it Strawberry! YUM! The Rocket Boosters are twinkies. The kids are printed from the computer and reversed on the other side to make them double-sided. I then taped them together very carefully and added toothpicks between

This cake was done for the granddaughter of a coworker. She brought me a picture of another cake she saw and asked me to do it. The bottom layer is orange cake, top is chocolate. Details are all bc icing and fondant. This was hard, but fun to do!

Found a photo of this online and replicated. my first ever tiered cake, first ever roses, pretty much first for everything, homemade buttercream and everything. there are a lot of things I would have done differently but my little girl liked it and that is all that matters right.

This couple were spending their honeymoon at Animal Kingdom & wanted the cake to reflect that. They said they wanted a castle, a fountain & liked bridges, other than that, the design was up to me. It was a fun cake to do.

This cake was for my friends who was proposed to in Disney World while When you wish upon a star" was playing in the background. Her wedding theme is stars and the colors are pink and white. This was also my first attempt at using fondant.

My friend asked me to do the two cars for her sons' birthday party. They are both chocolate cake with MMF. I am still new to this MMF thing, so I thought I'd try it to make something different.. I don't think the blue car has the right proportions, but the kids went crazy for it! :)

Made for my favourite niece ( I only have one!!) so it had to be special. She is very 'into' Disney Princesses at the moment. Bottom tier is 5 layers in strawberry, vanilla and chocolate with a ton of strawberry buttercream. I designed it to look like Cinderella's dress. Tiara is a modified version of one from here, thanks Carrielynnfields for the tutorial. I can't wait to see her face!

Cocunut cake with pineapple filling. Buttercream frosting with MMF accents. I made two 11x15 sheet cakes, torted them, and placed side by side so that I can have a big space for my cars "scene". My DH designed the cake and I made it . It was fun.

Cinderella on 11"x17" sheet. Her face was very difficult to do as the piping was so tiny...I wasn't satisfied with her face but thought it turned out nice otherwise.

My daughter designed this cake for her 5th birthday. It HAD to be pink and purple with Disney princesses and Funfetti cakes. It is two 10" square and two 6" round cakes with buttercream icing. Fondant accents, ice cream cone towers and turrets.
