This cake was so fun to do! For my niece's 1st birthday. The bottom is strawberry cake, top is banana cake. Both have fresh strawberry filling and whipped topping. I kind of ran out of time w/ the towers, but other than those, was really proud of myself when I was finished. Thank you to EVERYONE here on CC who's castle cakes I got inspiration from. There were so many...oh, and I GOT MY FIRST PAID ORDER OUT OF THIS ONE!!!!

I recommend decorating a cake with a friend who also decorates. We both learned a little something from each other. I did this cake with my first piping transfer. It was fun

I did this cake for my niece Jacqueline on her 4th birthday. I am still a novice, this is my 9th cake (so far I have only done cakes for family), but this is my favorite so far. It is a chocolate and white layer cake with chocolate buttercream filling and buttercream icing.

This cake was for my brother. Checkerboard cake,9" and 6", Buttercream clouds and grass. First fondant cake, both MMf, and chocolate MMF ( and I love it!) This also was my first stacked cake (the correct way) It was a bad idea to make FBCT cars, when they were going to stand up, should've used royal icing to make them. This pic was taken immediately before he blew out the candles, and by the time I was done serving it, the cars had totally melted away. signs made of chocolate.

This was for my oldest son's 4th birthday. He loved the Incredibles. I recreated the "swirl" freehand on the cake first and then filled in with a traditional Wilton star tip. The characters were attached with buttercream and Frozone's "snow and ice" are buttercream with white sugar sprinkled on top for sparkle. Enjoy!
