I really wish this one had a face plate to use instead of trying to freehand it. It's nearly impossible to see her nose in these pictures. Also, if someone tries this cake, use either a size 1 or 2 tip for her facial features, not a size 3 like the instructions say. It's a lot easier to do the detail work that way.

I made this for my nephew's mom. She was planning on having a big party but then she was diagnosed with leukaemia, so I just made her a small cake as a surprise. She's crazy about Tinkerbell & didn't want to cut it.

Two giant cookie cakes for 12-year-old twins. Tinkerbell and Hello Kitty. I left the edges of the cookies as they baked. We agreed it looked fine. So, I outlined it with the icing (border). YES, I forgot Hello Kitty's whiskers...oops. FBCT ...these were my 3rd and 4th transfers. So far, the mother has seen these...they've been delivered. She loves them. HOPE the girls love them, too!

This is a cake I made for a wedding shower. The couple went to Disney World on their honeymoon. I tried to mimic the Cinderella Castle. One layer is chocolate, one layer is white and the other cookies 'n' cream. The turrets are lady fingers/cream horns. The lake is blue jello. I spray painted ice cream cones with purple food coloring. Graham cracker draw bridge and green coconut for grass.

Made for a 5 year old's Birthday. Used Debbie Brown's instructions in her "Enchanted Cakes for Children" book. It's chocolate cake with whipped chocolate ganache filling. Fondant decorations and bed was made of fondant with gum tragacanth. Lots of fun to do :) TFL!

This cake gave me so many problems. The banner broke, which is one reason I have the roses so close to it to try to cover my mistakes. But overall it looked nice. The picture doesn't do the actual cake justice! Thanks for looking. OH...BCT of Princesses!

Disney Cars stacked cake iced in buttercream with fondant accents, plastic toy accessories purchased by the mother. Icing image cars and chocolate birthday number. Had a lot of problems getting this icing smooth. Icing seemed to be melting but the kids absolutely loved it. I had to stop kids from an unrelated birthday party from touching the cake. The upside is that those parents all asked for my number so hopefully I'll be getting some calls soon!!!!

This was teh second time I made this "Cars" cake. I swore I would never do it again after the first one. It turned out to be my nephews theme - so I had to make it again. Too much work for me. I hope no one wants this one again.

This cake was made using the Wondermold pan. The bodice of the dress was made of fondant, the skirt and sleeves of buttercream. An additional 9" round was placed under the doll then trimmed with garland border and buttercream drop flowers. The 5" smash cake was iced in buttercream with a plastic glass slipper on top.

WASC cake with BC, Chocolate BC and Cherry Koolaide BC. The Cactus is fondant on a skewer with spaghetti noodles for the prickles. Did this for my cousin's little boy. A lot of work but just as much fun. Thanks to all who posted a version of this cake, you were a great inspiration.

This is a 10" square dark chocolate fudge and 6" round vanilla cake with buttercream icing and fondant flowers. The topper is a child's toy Cinderella crown. I was told the birthday girl likes pink, blue, purple, flowers and Disney princesses, so this is what I did.

I did this cake this morning for a little girl who was having a princess party. I found a good pic of the magical ballroom and tried to recreate it in the cake.

This was so hard to make. 12x18 chocolate cake with buttercream icing. My icing wouldn't crust for some reason, so I couldn't smooth it well. Also, the facial details are so small and delicate, I had a terrible time getting it to look right. In the end, I was pleased with all except the eyes - they look kind of goofy. But it was the best I could do! :)

This was done for my daughter's 5th birthday to coordinate with her napkins. Buttercream icing with fondant accents. My first experience with fondant. This is my practice cake for the two layer version I need to do next weekend for her party with her friends. This one's just for the family. Please ignore the peaks on the dot border, the icing got too soft and I didn't feel like thickening it up.

My first castle, and it was A LOT of work. The little girl that it was for loves purple and wanted purple cake, meaning that I had to dye the actual cake. So it was white cake dyed purple, with BC and MMF accents. The whole castle is not assembled in the pic, because it wouldn't travel well, and I wasn't able to get a set up pic. You get the idea though. Thanks for looking! Oh, by the way, this was inspired by many other castle cakes on here.

Cute little car! I really hate trying to do character cakes because I know I will never get the detail or expression just right - kids are very observant and notice these things! I thought about adding the Rust-eze logo on the hood, but remembered it was for a 4 year old who probably wouldn't care. Luckily, he loved it! His sister got the Cozy COne Motel cake with Sally - posting next.

Used the Happy Meal toy for this cake. Already sold another one to a mom who needs more servings. I'm going to place the cone on a larger base and make 'parking spaces' for the other happy meal toy cars from the movie!
