This cake was made from a kit that I ordered online (pink plastic parts and figures)... Believe me, it was not as easy to put together as it looked like it would be. Buttercream base coating, door, vines, leaves with Royal Icing roses. The top section is actually a picture frame that had the birthday girl's picture in it. This cake was for my niece's birthday.

This one was inspired by so many of the Disney Princess cakes here on CC. I really wanted to make it a bit different so I added the pillars, which I think made it look more "princessy". All BC with fondant ribbon roses, store bought toys and tiara. Thanks for looking!

Used Disney Cinderella Princess pick and popular "Barbie Cake" method with small Wilton cake pan designed for the doll picks. Fondant dress. This is a very small cake - would serve only 2 people. It was an accent to a large Disney Castle cake, but if I was doing it on it's own I would put on a round cake as a topper.

For a little girl who loves Princess Belle's 2nd birthday. Chocolate cake frosted in bc; Belle is made of 50/50 gumpaste and fondant mix. Next time I'll use all gumpaste because she really started leaning and I had to reinforce her with toothpicks - TFL!

This is a cake for my cousin's daughter. It is a Disney Princess party, but she didn't want any logo stuff on it. So, I just used the color scheme from the plates, ect. Buttercream base with fondant accents.

And she was very disappointed that this was "mine cake" (She is 2). This was for a co-workers grandbaby who is turning 4, I will be delivering it tom. I know when I was 4 I would have loved this cake. WASC with funfetti(first time using that recipe), chocolate bc filling, and MMF decorations. Cinderella is a doll, the real clothes and other shoe will also be given to the b-day girl. TFL.

Mermaid Ariel cake made with Wilton Wonder Mold and an 8" round base. WASC with all buttercream frosting except the doll itself and her bikini top. Don't mind her hair...trying to keep it out of the way until the customer picks it up ;)

This was my first attempt at a FBCT. A friend from church requested it for her daughters 3rd birhtday since she couldn't find any Beauty and the Beast cakes in the stores. There are a few minor flaws but overall I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

10" and 6" round. Wilton castle kit, princess toppers all done in BC. I wanted a bigger look so I made the cake board part of the whole look. Next time I will deliver this cake and assemble it on site. I used candy melts to anchor the towers to the cake board and the still fell, the towers in the cake lend a little too. Live and learn. Any tips U might have send it my way.

My sister asked me to make her granddaughter a B D Cake. She likes Princess things, so I chose a Story Book theme, getting inspiration from Rose Bud Cakes of Beverly Hills. I so wished I would have put ribbon around the cakeboard instead of a thin piped line, the board absorbed the grease from icing. Like most of my cakes this was free, so I did not feel too bad about the board.

I was not yet using fondant, soooo......this doll is covered in buttercream. Messy to me, but my 3 yr old loved it. And.....this cake, along with the other one in the background, had some very serious sweating issues.
