This is a mocha cake and almond buttercream with a Greatful Dead Bear edible image. This is my 2nd buttercream cake and I charged $40 for it. Im great with fondant but I am getting better with my buttercream cakes. BIRTHDAY WAS PURPOSELY MIS-SPELLED PER CUSTOMER REQUEST. It was some kind of inside joke between him and his girlfriend.

My friends' daughter requested Day of the Dead and mushrooms for her birthday cake! I finally figured out a way to incorporate the two without it looking bizarre. :) This is a dark chocolate cake with buttercream filling, buttercream flavored MMF, and buttercream piping. I handpainted the fondant accents using powdered food color and vodka.

El Dia de los Muertos (aka The Day of the Dead). It is a spanish Holiday similar to Halloween. These cupcakes were for the Spanish Club at my school! Everyone loved them and they represent the color and themes of the holiday!

this cake was made for a friend's daughter's birthday - she is a drummer who loves the Green Lantern (a true fan before the movie came out) and she also loves the band, The Ramones. One of their songs, PET SEMATARY (yes that is how they spell it) for Stephen King's movie is her favourite and was the theme of the cake. I tried to tie it all in and it was a lot of fun.
