This was my first wedding cake, first tiered cake and second attempt at MMF. I got the idea from Antonia74's beautiful lyrics cake, though mine is not nearly as nice as hers. I made this for my SIL's wedding and it consists of a 6 inch banana cake, 9 inch caramel cake and 11 inch old fashion cola cake. Even though I was sick with stress while making it, I am so happy with the outcome and I look forward to another opportunity to make a MMF cake. Thanks for looking.

Thank you snicker for your great inspiration..mine's not as good, but it was fun to do! One tier white cake, one tier chocolate cake. BC with fondant flip-flops and daisies. Accents gone over with luster dust. I'm hoping my niece will love it!

This is a tiny 4" on a 6" cake for a wedding that had centerpiece cakes. We covered it in the daisies so it would look dramatic even tho it was small. It was on a stage on a piano.

This was my first practice attempt at a stacked wedding cake... Since I could see every imperfection, we decided to to the 3 levels on staggered stands.

I made this for my friends bridal shower. It's a lemonade cake with a lemon mousse and a vanilla buttercream. It was very good. I made the flowers out of royal icing. After course II, this was my first time doing flowers again...it was a little nerve racking, but they came out ok. The gal giving the party gave me a napkin to match the colors.

I'd like to thank everyone here for the cutest idea! The cookies are NF and with royal icing. I sprinkled sugar dust on the yellow. The tag idea, I can't thank one person because I don't knoe who started it, but thanks! It was a big hit at the bridal shower, I made the cake also.

Cupcakes with roses are french vanilla with raspberry BC filling. Those with daisies are double coconut with key lime BC filling. This is my first cupcake wedding and I have decided I LOVE doing these!

Lemon cake with rasberry filling. The color didn't mix well, so I had little green specks, bummer!

This is a practice cake I did to practice the stringwork. I made the birds nest out of gum paste and had nothing to use it for. The daisies are gumpaste also. Lemon Cream Cheese frosting, I love the VIVA paper towel trick, I am skeptical no more!

First try at a full buttercream cake. Got a few raised eyebrows from other people in my course while icing the green coat. Could have used a few more daisies, perhaps.

I actually posted this cake earlier today. Then I decided it needed more so I added some additional flowers and leaves. I hope it was a good move....Though I need to learn to stop myself with the leaves, I usually end up putting too many on.

This was my first square cake AND my first stacked wedding cake. (I have always used seperator plates) The mirror was the bride's idea. While it looked pretty, it made for the most nerve wracking transport I have ever had!

The reason I posted this cake that I had already posted was that it is a close-up of the basketweave and I was wondering if you would tell me your honest opinions of my BW technique. All honest opinions welcome. I have another basketweave wedding cake coming up and just want assurance that it looks okay. It took like 3hours just to do the weave on this cake

I used the scooby doo cake in the 2006 wilton yearbook for inspiration. It was marble on the inside which was much more work than I anticipated. I'm charging extra next time...lol!

Not too proud of how this one turned out....but oh well. I put this cake together very quickly for my Mom's birthday (the guests had arrived and I was still finishing up!) - needless to say, I didn't have time to do a good job!

My MIL showed me a picture of these cupcakes and said that's what she wanted. I put my "thinking cap" on and somehow they came out right. I've made them for birthdays, wedding showers, and just because. One lady almost chose them in addition to her wedding cake.

This is a butter cake. I never realized how difficult it would be to smooth out buttercream. I think I'm a fondant kind of girl.
