Topsy Turvy cake. Bottom 8"-3 layers. Top 5"-1layer and 6"-2layers. Made this for my 24th Golden Birthday last week. Butterfly's color flow wings and royal icing bodies. Roses BC, Daisies royal icing. White cake with BC filling and covered with MMF. This cake had to come together a lot faster than I wanted it too b/c of my schedule the week before and the day of the party. But once it was all done I was pretty happy with it. I did break my topper the day of the party and was quite dissapointed =(

I had some leftover cake batter and icing, so made up a few cupcakes to give to the neighbor. These are cream cheese filled carrot cake cupcakes with buttercream icing and royal icing daisies.

This is an 8" round carrot cake with cream cheese filling. It is iced in pink buttercream with white cornelli lace on the sides and royal icing daisies on top.

round tres leches cake, covered with whipped cream icing. This was the first time I used fres flowers on a cake (my husband picked the flowers). I made this cake for my boss and his wife for their anniversary dinner. I used flower spikes and for the really large stems I wrapped the stems in foil paper to avoid direct contact with the cake.

I hated the way the color is on the sides... it was supposed to be pink but came out more red. Other than that, I am pretty proud of the cake.

cake was donated for an event. there were 150 people there, and she put my cards in everyone's bag, so hopefully i'll get a cake or two. the theme of the event was beauty in bloom, with gerbera daisies. she put the cake on the flower table (said more people look at flowers, vs desserts) so i just tried to make it blend with the whole concept. mmf daisies with bc roses, the greenery is colorflow.

This is the infamous cracked cake! I didn't get a photo of it at the reception site, but the cracking happened on the way down (shame on me for transporting it whole! I had to work that day so I didn't have time to assemble on site....shame shame). All the daisies were made from royal. I'm not proud of this cake, but figured I'd post it anyway. Go figure, I never heard from the bride or groom after...

I made this cake for my kids great grandmother. MMF and gumpaste daisies. I worked on it for 2 days. Lots of problems. It broke and I had to mend it with buttercream. It was originally going to have a fondant bow but the bow gave in with the weight. I'm still learning but I hope to be as good as some of the people on this site. There truly is alot of talent out there.

This cake was actually for a baptism. Bottom layer was vanilla, middle one was lemon-raspberry and top one was chocolate (big cake for 90 people). Fondant daisies. Got the idea out of a Wilton magazine, just made it bigger. I liked the way it turned out.

My husband was heading into "the city", it is his mom's birthday tomorrow, May 2, so after work I put this together for him to take. I actually wanted to use yellow roses that I had made for her, but I liked the daisies. I think it turned out looking like a hat?? What do you think!!!!

This was a birthday cake I made for my friend last August. It was my first time doing an actual decorating job, and also my first time with fondant. The daisies are also made out of fondant. Not the best, but I'm proud of it!

This is my first attempt at a two-layer cake (besides Wilton Class, almost 10 years ago-LOL!). Made for my friend's bridal shower - theme is daisies. 12" chocolate base layer, with chocolate Wilton soccer ball cake on top. Thanks for looking :)

French vanilla cake with chocolate pudding center, Buttercream with fondant accents. My first try with fondant. The bow was a wreck, so I did not use it. Inspired by Boween, thank you for all of your great designs! Used Viva to smooth the BC (I think the BC was too thin:(.

I made this cake for my sister's graduation from college. The daisies and drop flowers are royal icing and the rest is buttercream. It was my first time using royal icing (love it!), first time making daisies and my first time doing basketweave on the side of a cake so I was happy with how it turned out. Thanks for looking!

I made this for a friend. Her colors are pink and green and she likes daisies. I took the easy road and bought silk flowers. I tried and tried and tried, but for the life of me could not get that icing any smoother...argh! That Baker's Buttercream tastes yummy though...

I made this cake for mother-in-law who loves daisies. My husband got me a new tip set and I love the tip that makes this border but I added it to the cake for fun. It ended up giving it almost a classic feel. It's a strawberry cake filled with fresh strawberries and french buttercream. Covered with french buttercream as well. Flowers are gum paste.

Did this for a friend... cakes are homemade pound cake filled with a white chocolate/cool whip and fresh fruit (might be too soft though...?) and iced with a whipped buttercream recipe I got from work. Flowers are done in royal. I wanted it to look yummy as well as pretty, so it is kinda simple but I thought they'd like it.

This was a cake for people sharing the same birthday. The girl liked daisies and the boy liked the godfather. Double layered sheet cake 1/2 vanilla, 1/2 choc, buttercream icing. Fondant daisies.

At last, this is my first wedding cake. I wish to thank Karennayak for her generous support, after viewing her golden wedding cake I sent her my queries and she guided me through making this beautiful cake. This is just a very simple wedding cake. Bottom layer is a chocolate cake with a Bailey's chocolate silk mousse. Second layer is carrot cake with cream cheese filling. Top layer is actually just a 6" cake pan. All iced in buttercream and decorated with gerber daisies.

Just a quick last minute Mother's Day cake for our family gathering. 8 inch dark chocolate fudge with whipped ganache/buttercream filling and buttercream icing. Fresh gerbera daisies and ribbon accent. The cake was DELISH!!!
