I decorated this cake for a girl at work that was throwing a baby shower. It was a lot of fun to make. Now I need to learn how to tighten up my rope borders!

This is 14" round, 10" round, and 6" round. I am not real sure that I like how they did the flowers. She put pearls in swags and then stuck the daisies along side the pearls. I think it is a little too much. But as long as the bride likes it (and the check doesn't bounce!) I am happy!!

IMBC, Fondant flowers and bow, royal icing daisy centers, and luster dust. For one of those showers without a real theme, so I just made it soft and pretty and girlie... all my favorites!

This was for a customer who actually wanted this cake for a baby shower at work. She didn't give me much direction for it other than to just make it simple and girly. This is what I came up with. It is all buttercream. The daisies are just drop flowers. She was pretty happy with it.

Thanks for looking.

The layers are WASC w/ cookies and cream filling, chocolate w/ peanut butter filling, and WASC w/ cheesecake filling. The cake is iced in BC, and the flowers are royal icing.

I made this cake for my sister's birthday. She loves yellow, and she also like daisies. I made her favortie recipe and she loved it! I am slowly getting better at this! This time my buttercream was fairly smoother than the last times I tried....thanks to my new buddy: the pastry comb with a smooth edge!!!! I am very pleased.

Here is my course 2 cake. The basketweave was much easier than I had been anticipating! I went a little more "minimalist" than the traditional course 2 cake.

My stepdaughter turned 14 this weekend so I made her a special mini cake to take back home to her mom's house (she doesn't bake). This was 6" of hot pink, orange, and red gerbera daisies (loosley interpreted!) - bright and cheerful like Paige! I love you Paige!

Here is my final from the gumpaste/fondant class. It was my instructors first time teaching it and she did great. It was a lot of fun working with gumpaste since I had never done so before. Marble cake, BC filling, covered in buttercup yellow MMF, gumpaste daisies and leaves. Any comments are welcomed.

I had my first demo as a Wilton instructor at the Michaels where I work last Sunday and this is the cake I decorated. It's a white cake with oreo filling, covered in buttercream. The flowers are royal icing. It was a wedding event, so I thought this cake would make a nice shower cake, spring cake, or Mother's Day cake. Even just a birthday cake.

I did my first Wilton demo at the Wedding Event at my Michaels last weekend and I made a cake and these cupcakes. I was inspired by several pictures I found in the gallery and I think they turned out very nice. Lots of people liked the idea of using something like these as table centerpieces! Chocolate cupcakes decorated with buttercream.
