This is the birthday cake I did for my sister. It's a dark chocolate fudge cake with a filling of cheesecake and strawberries, covered in chocolate ganache, and accented with marshmallow fondant. This was only my second time making MMF and I'm looking forward to using it more and getting more practice with it.

This was my first stacked cake, and final cake for Wilton Course III. I just happened to take it to school on Bob's birthday, so it became his birthday cake! Inspired by the cake in the Wilton Tiered Cakes book. Buttercream with Satin Ice fondant accents. (OOOPS, sorry it's sideways!)

This was my first fondant cake. I used gum paste for the roses, daisies, and leaves. I used Royal icing on everything else except the blue covering. (The pocket are fondant.) You can't see it very well, but I put alot of little royal icing flowers all the way around the bottom of the cake. This cake looked yummy, but it wasn't really. I'm not real sure what went wrong, lol. At least it looked cute! I got this idea from some one else's wedding cake. :)

An applesauce spice cake with cream cheese filling and BC icing. There are small pearl dragees randomly placed amongst the scrolls and swirls on the sides. Fresh Gerberas were placed very specifically as the bride had instructed. She contacted me after the wedding, and said the the cake was the best part of the wedding!!

I thought I'd try making some gumpaste flowers. They're nice but not nearly as nice as ones I've seen on here. The gumpaste is wilton ready made, and the instructions for the flowers were in the booklet that came with the flower cutter set.

My first 3D cake, well kind of my second because I helped my DH with the army tank. Not bad for being the first. Ladybug is a cupcake, top for body and part of the bottom for face. Used Wilton Dancing Daisies pan. All buttercream except for spots, legs and antennae.

2 tier stacked cake, 4" and 6", both 4" tall. Covered in Satin Ice fondant, gumpaste daisies dry dusted in smokey amethyst luster dust. I am not a fan of pink or purple so I am not thrilled with the overall outcome of this, but they were the girls favorite colors (pink, purple and black). fondant pearls painted in super pearl. The top cake has a fondant overlay which i curled up with a dowel, then piped on a bead border with royal icing and painted it with super pearl dust.

I made these cookies for my daughter's 1st bday. These were given to all the kids as party favors! I should have taken pictures of these before transporting them. A few of them fell of the sticks in transport. The "grass" is coconut tinted green. I uses BC fondant to ice the cookies.

This was going to have a lot more detail on it but after being rushed to do all the decorating and working on the cake, this is all she got - that would be my mean little SIL. The cirles and flowers are gumpaste handpainted with lusterdust.

This is the cake I made for my mom's birthday. She just recently found out she's pre-diabetic so I used a recipe for sugar free icing I found here at CC. It didn't taste bad, but I like the real stuff better. I did make the flowers and ladybugs with mmf. She was happy with it and didn't feel guilty about eating it so that's all that matters! Thanks for looking!

This was for a lady who loves shoes & purses. It was my first gumpast shoe. The cake is dark chocolate fudge with chocolate almond fudge filling, BC icing with MMF flowers and accents. The color is a bit off in this photo. The pink is actually electric pink. I had fun doing this, but had a little bit of a problem with the BC cracking.

Cakes for a girl's first birthday. The little girl loves to dress in her older sister's tiaras, so the mom requested something related to "dress up." The fondant tiara was my interpretation. Main cake is dark choc with choc buttercream w/ bc and fondant decorations. Small cake is French vanilla tinted pink with fondant daisies and crown.

This was the largest sheet cake I've ever done, it was 25 x 18. The 3-D blocks are cake iced with BC. The daisies & letters are MMF; the butterflies white chocolate. The baby shoes are gumpaste using a template found on CC. (First ones I've made.) The customer asked for pastels because they don't know if it is a girl or a boy yet.
