These were made for a Girl Scout meeting where we they celebrated mother's day with their mothers. Chocolate and vanilla cupcakes iced in buttercream and topped with royal icing flowers.

This was homework for my Xiomara's Baking lessons. I wasn't sure about mu color scheme but ones I finished I liked it very much. Looks like a cloud ha'!

Bride to be wanted Vanilla Vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Said her plates were reminiscient of Kandinsky's painting, so I found Wilton Brush on colors in the clearance aisle the night they were due, and click! I used a paint brush and did the circles on top. It also pays to be a teacher, I've asked other teachers to save the cupcake holders, so I might not have to purchase my own quite yet.

Square cowboy bandana. MMF and hand drew in buttercream the design by copying my son's bandana. cupcakes with chocolate cowboy hats and boots made from a chocolate mold.

Floyd is a character developed by our church youth minister to illustrate children's services. I made chocolate transfers of Floyd to decorate 2 dozen cupcakes for the minister's departure party.

These were made to go with the smash cake and 1st birthday cake. Thanks Edibleart for the inspiration for these. After seeing yours, I was determined to try so with left over batter I made cupcakes for the birthday party too. Not as pretty as yours but they loved them.

I made these for my sons class party. There were 60 (enough for 2 classes, teachers and parents) in all half were chocolate and half butter, iced in BC.

These were made for a little guy to take to class, and since there were so many of them, I wanted to try to do something simple so I came up with the idea to use a Hershey's kiss, although my royal icing wasn't as stiff as it should've been.

I had two cake tastings on one day, and thought I'd do it with cupcakes... I put different fillings in each, with three different cakes... I put a symbol on top so I'd know what filling was in each.

I made these orange/lemon flavored cupcakes with buttercream frosting for my daughter's marriage builders class. I used gumpaste to make both the bands and begonias. I used gold petal dust to give the bands some shimmer.

Cupcakes for new neighboors, who just moved in with 2 kids. Very simple- just chocolate buttercream with circle jimmies and 'Welcome,' with peach roses on the extra cupcakes. Yes, I know there should be one more cupcake...shhh. ;)

These are piped in the center with a surprise of strawberry jam. Then iced with strawberry icing, and topped with, of course, a strawberry. Very good! They are great right out of the fridge.

This cake was for a friend's daughter's first birthday - i used the figurine I made during a Planet cake course. The cake design is also based on one of the Planet Cake website pictures. It is chocolate mud cake with fondant and the cupcakes are buttercake with fondant.

This was made with the help from my 4 yr old son. He brought these to his class on his last day of school. I had extra mix left so I made tiny heart cakes and placed them on top. The kids liked it.

I did these little cakes for the women in my church. We had a potluck so I thought I would bring one of my favorite things CAKE! I didn't want to decorate a whole cake and my mom had just given me the mini cupcake tree as a gift so I opted for these little cupcakes. Lemon vanilla cake with 1/2 butter 1/2 crisco buttercream and edible pearls.

This is just the cupcake display. There's two additional tables with mini cheesecakes on each side. Bride ordered two of the small layer cake on top - one to freeze.

I agree, I preferred being able to search for something in particular rather than having to see everything in the hope I find what I'm after.

Totally agree! This setup change is terrible. They really need to bring back the Search option for the Gallery. My frequent use of this site has gone down to next to nothing as I do NOT have time to search through pages of images that do not pertain to what I am in need of. I came back today just to see if it had been fixed, but NOPE sadly it is still the same. Poor decision making on this one guys!

I totally agree. I have always loved being able to search the site for specific ideas. Now it is just very frustrating. Please bring back the old search option.
