This is my first decorating experience. This was made for my step-brother for his 13th birthday.

It's a cupcake cake. Decorated with whipped frosting. Then airbrushed with green and green sprinkles for grass. The jumps are also make out of a half of a cupcake. The track is Nilla Waffers and Oreo cookies smashed.

White cake with blue and red jimmies addedfor color. BC and CBC icing with red/white/blue star sprinkles and Fondant firecracker on top. Happy 4th of July!

These are chocolate cupcakes, with chocolate frosting. I shredded cookers chocolate and dipped the frosted cupcakes in it for a "truffle" looking effect. I then covered strawberries in chocolate and placed them on top. People thought they'd taste fancy, but once they did taste them they said..."oh it tastes like like a regualar cupcake." Very funny.

Here is the last one from last week I promise!! This is the one that I needed the help with. My cupcakes weren't close enough together in some spots and my icing started to "fall". I added the star to try and cover.

This is my son's entry in the fair for children's decorated cupcake. He made the chocolate buttermilk cupcakes from scratch (he's 9) and iced in buttercream, added royal icing baby bluebirds and chinese noodles for a nest. The picture does this cupcake no justice! They are so cute!

My daughter's 2nd birthday. She loved it and the cupcakes on top were great for kids and the round is good for all the adults. It's not perfect but I was proud of it.

The whole display was going to be too white, even for the minimalist art gallery room...so I'm really glad the florist had this gorgoeus vase of flowers to use on the top tier instead. It made all the difference!

Sorry, I forgot to take a picture with the two together. These were made for two girls born a day apart. There Mom's wanted each girl to have their own cake. Can't say that I blame them. The strap was licorice. I tried doing it with MMF but after 3 days it wasn't dry enough. Gotta love this southern humidity, LOL~~

I thought these cupcakes were going to be a real hassle because the buttercream leaves & flowers were to be piped on top of them...but they weren't as bad as I'd expected!

First, I smoothed the Bailey's Chocolate Buttercream and the Grand Marnier Vanilla Buttercream tops with a small off-set palette knife...then I piped the leaves and flowers onto parchment-lined cookie sheets, froze them and then just placed them on all the cupcakes.

Froze the cupcakes overnight for easier transport/delivery/setup!!

Cupcake babies (from Wilton 2006 yearbook) I made for a friend's Surprise Baby Shower. The blankets and abaies are made from Fondant.. not really tastey, but VERY cute! This was the VERY first cake decorating project I have EVER done! I think it turned out well.. and my friends LOVED them!

A quick job, was busy packing for vacation...and told husband I would get these made before I left out of town for his work. It was for a lady at my husband's work. I went to the local grocery store to buy a big enough box and I then taped my "busines" card on the bottom of it....the lady of honor loved them so much and she saw the card...she told my husband that she may call me for some cakes :) Zucchine Spice and Orange Chip Dream cupcakes with dawn's buttercream icing. This was a bold wedding today. Everything was silver and white...with these 3 amazing colours as accents. The gerbera daisy theme was SO pretty!

I used three flavours of cupcakes topped with coloured/flavoured buttercream swirls: Tahitian Vanilla Cupcakes with Bright Orange Vanilla Buttercream, Lemon Cupcakes with Lime Buttercream & Dark Chocolate Cupcakes with Raspberry Pink Buttercream.

The toppers are simple, white gumpaste daisy cutouts.

Ok, 2nd attempt at the BCT...loved it this time!!! This is just practice for the 'real' cake in a week. It's a cupcake cake, and my 1st time doing one. Not sure what to do w/the icing sinking inbetween the cupcakes where they didn't meet, but other than that it turned out pretty good.

White almond cupcakes w/raspberry filling.

I agree, I preferred being able to search for something in particular rather than having to see everything in the hope I find what I'm after.

Totally agree! This setup change is terrible. They really need to bring back the Search option for the Gallery. My frequent use of this site has gone down to next to nothing as I do NOT have time to search through pages of images that do not pertain to what I am in need of. I came back today just to see if it had been fixed, but NOPE sadly it is still the same. Poor decision making on this one guys!

I totally agree. I have always loved being able to search the site for specific ideas. Now it is just very frustrating. Please bring back the old search option.
