First time making a bouquet. My frosting kept sliding off. Not sure how to prevent that. Any ideas?

Another one in the latest round. Tried doing pansies (they didn't work too well) along with the rosettes. I still have to work on figuring out how many regular size cupcakes is going to fit on the pot. Comments welcomed.

My first attempt at a cupcake bouquet. I had to put it together before the kids started eating the cupcakes so I didn't get a chance to fil in the white spots. It was also my first attempt at making "flower cupcakes." I am planning on using these as centerpieces for an 80th birthday party in August so have lots of practice a head of me. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

19 regular size cupcakes. Tip 1M for the flowers, #70 for the leaves. Butterflies are from an idea in the book "Hello, Cupcake" - candy melts. Quick & easy to make!

My first attempt at cupcake bouquets. They turned out pretty cute but were not easy to transport. I need to try something different next time around.

This was my first cupcake bouquet. Wow what a fun project. Thanks to a cc'r for the tip on using toothpicks not only in the cupcakes but also on the side to help hold them on better. Also the box is filled with an assortment of chocolates.

This is my first attempt at a cupcake bouquet. My daughter painted the terra cotta pot. I'm going to make these for Mother's Day. My cupcakes were too light and moist and were breaking off. I'd love any suggestions for a good cake recipe to use for these!

This is my Second attempt at a cupcake bouquet and two more to go. I am thinking that a plastic flower pot or a pail might work better than terra cotta due to fingerprints being on the pot (probably wear gloves next time). I am happy with the way this turned out even though they still need a little work. Mini cupcakes with BC. All comments and suggestions welcome!!!

I made this bouquet for one of my assistants. It is cupcakes with silk leaves. I did not realize how much the different colored leaves would clash. I will match the green better next time. TTL

Mini cupcakes with buttercream roses....well I just learned how to make a rose, so this cake was practice for the roses....the bouquet is for my mother in law for mother's day so I felt like it was a good way to practice and not have to worry about it being that great.

This is my first cupcake arrangement. It's all vanilla bc. I put rubons onthe glass vase, that looks small because of the angle. I'm still learning how to make some flowers and my bc roses aren't great but this was good practice. Floral foam in the midle, cupcakes held on with toothpicks.

this is my first attempt at a cupcake bouquet. I couldn't find a pot that I lkI liked so I added some dragonfly stickers to this one. I used the half ball styrofoam for the center and held the minicupcakes on with skewers.

this is my second attempt. I was sort of just goofing around with this one. I got the orange by using the leftover pink and yellow from the other one. I had to use square foam cause I didn't have another half ball. (not a good idea) I couldn't get a good rose so I just sort of made up my own flower for the purple ones. The leaves, baby's breath and fairy are all left over from other craft projects.
