A cupcake bouquet I made for a baby shower. I enjoy making these fondant ones because they are more secure on the bouquet itself and you can actually wrap them in tulle (carefully) which makes them more fun for gifts.

Idea totally borrowed from Cambo's beautiful bouquets, but I tried to do her mums and could not get them right. I tried different tips and I was pretty happy with this look. I used tip #61, all butter cupcakes with stiff bc. I was able to fit 27 mini cupcakes since the pot is a little bigger, I found the
pretty pot at the dollar store = ) TFL

I made these for a bride whose budget was slim. She wanted nice centerpieces and needed to cut down on some things. I offered these for the same price as the cake she originally ordered. I bought all the glass vases and will get them back after the reception so that I can offer these to future budget concious brides. I also offer these with the cake as favors. I found a website where I can get 3x3x3 boxes for very cheap. PM me if you want the website.

This is a CC Bouquet done for display at local Coffee Shop. I didn't have any filler to "hide" the foam
ball, but I liked the overall look of the pail and mini CC's.... TFL

My grandmother put together a bee themed luncheon for her church group. She called and asked me for ideas with a bee theme dessert!
she told me she had found some flower pots and had an idea of painting them bee striped...what could I do with that??...well.... cupcake bouquets of course!!!
there were 8 of these bouquets as table centerpieces so guests could "pick flowers"

When I saw this idea in here, I had to try it myself! The icing flowers were quick and easy to make (there's an excellent YouTube video out there from the Culinary Institute of America.) I did have some trouble with the assemblage! A note to anyone trying this...your styroform ball needs to be about 2" smaller than your pot/bucket (the cupcakes need the support from the pot's rim.

After a little trial and error I realized that I needed to put 3 cupcakes on top and an extra support stick under the side cupcakes to keep them from falling off once frosted. Also put it together and then frost, it is much easier!!!

These are my first cupcake bouquets. Once I figured out the structure things went smoothly. They are white mini cupcakes (11) with Strawberry buttercream frosting. I am pleased with how they turned out. Thanks for the great idea Cambo! BTW the pots are cute coffee mugs that I bought at the dollar deals store.

I made this for my friend's birthday, who is a florist. It was my first attempt at making a cupcake bouquet. My poor bee didn't have wings at this point; they were added later. Although I need practice, I had a lot of fun doing it, and I can't wait to do another one!
