This was done for a boy turning 18, who couldn't wait to go back to bull riding. The accents are all gumpaste and Satinice (my 1st time using it and it's GREAT, my new best friend!!!!) Thanks for looking.

They told me to do anything to a sheet cake that I wanted as long as it looked western. I just wish I had more time to learn how to do the brims out of fondant!! Oh well, you live and you learn! Cake was yellow with almond BC.

This was a baby shower cake for a little boy whose dad is a police officer. They also wanted a western vibe. Badge is MMF painted with gold luster dust. Guns were done with a piping gel transfer.

This is for my niece. The car was not part of the original design, they wanted it added last minute. the cake is triple chocolate fudge with caramel filling and chocolate icing covered in fondant. The horseshoes and numbers are royal icing and the hat is modeling chocolate. It was my first time working with the chocolate- I love it!!

This was for my son's 5th birthday. I found many great cowboy ideas on here, but didn't want to make use black or red (for the bandana look) so I used Woody's clothes for inspiration instead. Cake is butter yellow with mini chocolate chips, bavarian cream filling, BC and almond MMF. Toys are part of a collector's set. Thanks for looking!

This was one of the 2 cakes I made for my work's biggest fundraiser of the year. It was a western themed fun filled night. Unfortunately, this cake only solf for $30. I was so upset. Maybe it isn't as cute as I thought.

This was the 1st cake I made for our western themed fundraiser. This sold for $15, and the lady purposely left it there because it wasn't 'fresh'. Expects me to make her another cake just like this one whenever she wants it. There is a post on here about this topic.

This was my very first entry into a cake show. I was so proud of it! Even though I didn't win, I liked the cake and was sooo glad I went to the show (besides I was able to meet Bronwyn Webber as well - too cool!) The cake was a dummy. It was covered in mmf with sprayed on food coloring and hand painted background. The cactus around the edge were gumpaste and the ones used as seperators were balls covered with fondant with r.i. spines. The tumble weed was my favorite - it was spun sugar!

I wanted to do a special cupcake bouquet for Father's Day. This is a cowboy hat turned upside down (from dollar store). Then made cowboy theme picks and stuck in each cupcake (found in scrapbook section). He was surprised and loved his Cowboy theme cupcakes.

Bottom tier is carrot cake w/ creamcheese icing, middle is strawberry with the "fresh strawberry filling" from cc with almond bc, top is dark chocolate with almond bc. Red and blue colors were made wit airbrush over white icing. NO FONDANT!! (I did use tootsie rolls for all the little balls) The topper was not edible, but maybe next time I will attempt to mold something.... Thanks to all the cc members whose cakes inspired this one!

made this cake for a friend of my mom's. My mom wanted a "29 and holding" party for someone unhappy about turning 30. My first attempt to make this kind of cake with the help of a CC member, Kim C. (Sorry I don't know your username.)
