IMBC with MMF decorations. Signs are on foam board trimmed in braid on lollipop sitcks. Street signs also on foam board attached with wire. The street sign is MMF on a wooden shishkabob stick. Adapted from adarabia's design.

I made these Sesame Street Cupcakes for my nephew's 1st birthday.  Cupcakes were yellow cake with flavored buttercream (Elmo was cherry, Cookie Monster was blue raspberry and Big Bird was pineapple).  My nephew looked like a smurf all day (from the blue icing)..lol

stermade this for a friends birthday this morning, got the idea from here and she saw it and loved it, made from butter cream, the cookies are fondant and grated chocolate

I made this for fun. I got the pan from my grandmothers collection & I have been wanting to do this cake for awile so when we had a snack day at work I felt the perfect oportunity to bake this cake & some chocolate chip cookies! And Cookie Monster was always my favorite character growing up!

yellow cake with buttercream.  Eyes are made of marshmellows.  I used tip 233 to get the fur like appearance.  Blue colour was made using a combination of royal blue (majority), a little black and some navy (all americolours)

A lot of questions about this cake I hope this helps some of you. When you place the head and shoulders on the corner it sticks out a bit on either side of the cake I just filled in the gap with frosting to give it a more round body shape. I did this cake for my daughter when she turned 1 year old. Elmo, Cookie Monster and Zoe are made out of polymerclay, so I can use them again in the future for another cake! :-)

Mini ball pan cakes for head & shoulders of both characters. Bodies built up with buttercream.  ABC/123 on back side. This is the 2nd time doing this cake and again was inspired by smf-tls' version.  
Elmo smash cake too.

Third time doing this cake but each time with small changes. Mini ball pan used for head and neck of each character on the 10" square cake. 6" rounds for seperate faces. Names on front and ABC/123 on back side.

This was my first 'real' decorated cake! Was made for my great niece's first birthday. The cake is homemade chocolate, topped with a white chocolate ganache' and decorated with buttercream. The cake was made last February.

I made this cake for my husband. It is made of vanilla cake, lemon mousse, liqurice mousse and wiped cream. Covered in chocolate paste mixed with SP. The monser and the little cookies are made of SP.

This cake caused some challenges for me.  I made it before I learned how important using a firm cake for sculpting was.  The cake I used for this was softer, and did not hold the support stakes well.  both cakes are covered in buttercream, and I used real chocolate chip cookies instead of making them from fondant or gumpaste.  the beak and the eyes were made of fondant.

Cookie monster was made out of cherry coke chocoalte cake, sitting on top of a strawberry swirl cake with elmo and cookie monster oreo faces around the side.  With a real chocolate chip cookie.
