This is the opposite side of the Elmo cake. Client wanted both Elmo and Cookie Monster so I just put them back to back. Worked out fine. Again, a big thanks to Andressa for inspiration for this cute cake. TFL

This cake was so much fun. My sister and I loved making it. For his head we baked two small glass mixing bowls, his body is one medium glass mixing bowl and 2 8 in rounds. Didn't have to carve anything although next time I think I will shape his head a little better. His legs and arms are RKT. Cookies and eyes are MMF. Used the star tip to make the fur. So easy and fun! If you have any questions just pm and I will help all I can. :) Thanks CC for all the great cakes! TFL

For my sons 1st birthday. i got this idea from marowe4 on here. I used the grass tip for fur and used buttercream frosting. It was hard to cut because when the "fur" dried it crumbled. oh well lesson learned. Ithink it came out good and my son loved it as did my family and friends.

This was a baby shower cake for my cousin who wanted cookie monster. We couldn't find a cookie monster pan so we improvised with a stand up bear. All icing is BC and Hershey kisses were added to make the base cake look like a giant cookie.

I made this cake for a co-worker. It was a first birthday celebration. She gave me a picture that she found on another website that only had Elmo and Cookie Monster. She asked if I could add Big Bird. I didn't realize that so many had posted similar cakes on this website. The characters are made of cake with the exception to the eyes, Big Bird's head, hands and beak.

Buttercream cake used a 14 in square pan on the bottom then used elmo face pan for top layer. Surronded with different cupcakes of cookie monster and oscar that I found from a fellow CC member thank you!!! I also used buttercream to decorate and marshmellows for the eyes and oreo cookies for the mouth. My son loved it and as you can see the kids already got to it before I had a chance to take a picture

I made these for my nephew's 2nd birthday because he loves Elmo! Thanks Jen411 for your tips and the amazing inspiration! Next time I will practice first before making them to get a better feel for how big the mouth should be in comparison to the whole face! All buttercream, except eyes which are marshmallows sliced, and mini choc. chip cookies in Cookie Monster's mouth! Used a Wilton Cupcake 'n more Dessert Stand to display.
