This was for my friend's baby shower. The basketball is RKT and the shoes, stars and pacifier are gumpaste. Much thanks to stellarstarchild for the template for the shoes. Everything else is fondant.

This is a 14" round chocolate fudge cake torted and filled with buttercream and covered in fondant. I used cambo's pattern for the gumpaste shoes. The plaque and the little flowers were all gumpaste as well. TFL

Boy baby shower with shoes, airplane and an attempt at retro patterns (clouds and dogs). Everything is MMF except for the top cloud under the airplane which is RI.

Made for a christening cake I have coming up, my first attempt at baby converse, decorated inside to look like the actual babies booties (with artistic liscence lol) I like em couple of things I'd do differently next time but im happy with them TFL xx Edited to add: Big thank you to stellarstarchild for the great templates and tutorial. xx

Hi, an 8 and 10 inch cake sitting on a 16inch board. My first attempt at gumpaste baby converse (thank you for the templates stellarstarchild!) Gumpaste Baby blocks about 2 inch square. Lustre dust on the board, curved hearts and the white details on the blocks. I used the same blue as the converse as the small hearts to tie the blues together. First time ever making the shoes. Had some trouble, but now know what to do & what not to do for next time. Cake is dark chocolate fudge cake with mint buttercream,chocolate mousse filling with Andes mint pieces folded into the mousse. This was for a friend who has been trying to adopt and had been waiting for 3 years. They received their first adopted baby in March (a little girl)....then a baby boy came their way 3 months later! How crazy is that?!

Baby shower cake, with GP converse baby shoes and fondant accents. Cake was vanilla cake with fresh strawberry and wihite chocolate ganache filling and chocolate cake with fresh raspberries and dark chocolate ganache filling.
