I made this cake for my daughters birthday. It's a 9" round chocolate cake filled with white frosting and oreos and frosted with pink strawberry frosting. The towers are made of ice cream cones, white chocolate and candies.

Cake ball cones. Instead of using a stick i put the cake in a cone and dipped it in blue white chocolate. Then drizzled some milk chocolate on top and a red jellybean to look like the cherry on top :)

Fun shower cake to do. Everything edible except for baby. Had to watch the music video several times to catch everything. Mom to be was calling her shower her Pre Baby Bash, hense the front of the cake ;) Because it was a rainy day, the cotton candy baby was laying on was starting to melt...YIKES!!! TFL

Kudos and thanks to Brooke420 who so graciously shared her technique with all of us on CC for this cake!! Cake board is 1/2" plywood cut in a 20" circle, metal flange is screwed in from the bottom and I used rubber door stops as "feet" to make it easier to pick up and move the cake. Cone is a 9" styrofoam cone covered in textured fondant - a metal threaded 8" pipe runs through it into the flange and a PVC connector extends PVC pipe beyond that height, into the cake layers. I used 6" round cake with half ball pan on top for bottom two tiers and a 5" pan with a Pyrex bowl for the top tier. Cake is buttercream covered with ganache and sprinkle and fondant cherry on top

Made these for my son's 5th Birthday. My first batch was decked out with sprinkles, but for the party I wanted the kids to be able to decorate their own, just like a real ice cream cone. Chocolate cake w. bittersweet chips, filled with peanut butter cream. Really a big hit! TYFL

Inspired by photo by mbark. I had some left over fondant and wanted to try a new recipe so I made a fun cake for my kids... just ignore the imperfect fondant cause I knew my kids wouldn't care :0)

had a go at these ice cream cupcakes, kids thought they were great.
I put the cooked cupcake into the cone and decorated with a small piece of chocolate flake and sprinkles. they were a bit unsteady, don't know if they would have held up to being moved somewhere.

My first Ice Cream Cone cake! I was a bit scared to do this cake, but thankfully, bayousmiles, was very generous with her help on how to construct the cake. This cake is a lot easier to make than it looks. The hardest part was doing the cake board and making sure that each individual square lined up. Bottom two scoops are 6? rounds topped with half ball cake. Top scoop is 5? round topped with half ball cake and carved down to size. I also carved in a little bit at the bottom of each ?scoop?, so it resembled more of a round shape. Each scoop is covered in ganache and then covered with buttercream. Top scoop is bubblegum buttercream. Middle scoop is confetti buttercream and bottom scoop is mint chocolate chip buttercream. Waffle cone is Styrofoam covered in MMF. Overall cake height: 27?. Thanks again to bayousmiles for detailed instructions. TFL

Made for a baby girl shower. I attached a sign that said, "sugar and spice and everything nice...". And the "L" stands for Lydia, the little girl's name. I also included a picture of the shower favor cookies.
