Got some inspiration from a few cakes here on CC, thank you!!! The truck is made of RCT and covered in fondant. White cake and chocolate cake with bc icing. Fondant 'orange cones" around the pillars and fondant signs. For my 2 year old, he was so excited!

The cake was done in buttercream with ice cream cone evergreen trees and gumpaste skaters and branched trees. The ice pond was in the shape of a dolphin because in lieu of gifts, the children donated money to the dolphins at the zoo.

Orange cake baked right in the ice-cream cone; used Name brand cones vs a cheap store brand to avoid cracks & breakage, 1M tip twisted, a bit of sprinkles, Andee's chocolate candy and a cherry with a stem for added fun! These went to 2nd graders! TFL!!

I baked the cupcakes in ice cream cones. I used whipped cream buttercream for the frosting. I had to transport them to my son's school so I used a couple of shoe boxes, wrapped in wrapping paper, and cut holes in the top of them for them to sit in.

I made these for my son's 3rd birthday party. We had an ice cream party by the pool, so I thought these would be cute. Everyone loved them. I baked the cake in the cones the night before the party. I guess I covered them too soon after taking them out of the oven because by the time I was ready to decorate them they were all mushy. I ended up rebaking them about 2hrs before the party. It all worked out in the end.
