This was for my step-daughter's Sweet 16 birthday cake. It's a computer on a desk surrounded with a few of her favorite things: Bagel Bites, IPOD, Cell Phone and of course her Drivers License and keys. I made the "screen" in Adobe Illustrator with comments from her favorite celebrities. :-) ( I blurred her picture for this upload but on the actual cake, her picture is clear)

12in Sq cake at bottom. Used AOL screen and print screen, copy and pasted to MS Wrod and added WordArt and a photo over the AOL photo. The I appled it to the stryofoam board my Husband cut to fit cake. He covered it with Black fondant. They LOVED this cake and so did I. His grandmother was like " Oh I see you bought a new computer". This let me know I did a great job making it look like the real thing

Made the son of a friend on his 21st Birthday. Wasn't as happy as I would have liked with the construction of the desk, but it was all the personal details which made it I think. I included things like his favourite computer games, snacks, cds etc and was particularly pleased with my model of the Starshop Enterprise!!

This is a choco cake with BC, covered in fondant. All accents are fondant also. I pulled ideas from different CCer's for this one. The client wanted a world of warcraft cake, i knew I could not even attempt to get the figures made. So I tried to make it look like a map sitting on a book. TFL

I printed the picture and attached it to the fondant. The keyboard is fondant painted with white food coloring. I used the partyware as inspiration for this iCarly birthday cake for two girls, ages 6 and 4. All fondant decorations except the computer, which is gumpaste; the little deco's on the computer screen were rolled out of tiny pieces of gumpaste too. I used a chocolate mold to get those tiny keys on the keyboard, but everything else was modeled by hand.
