Made these (and three others) for my children's teachers and school staff for the last day. Was tempted to make gumpaste letters that just said "DONE" and add to the cake! LOL Very easy to mass produce as all the cakes were dark chocolate fudge with ganache filling. Baked, torted, and frosted at the same time and then decorated assembly line. Funny though, they all turned out a bit different! (and my cuticles are still dyed hot pink!)

This was made for my dad and uncle's 50th birthday party. It's a 12 inch round iced with buttercream. The
colors on top are done with the Wilton color spray. I made a template with only one wedge missing, and moved
it around the circle spraying different colors. The spinner is made from a dowel rod, a push pin, and cardboard.
It actually did spin! Everyone had a great time with it and it was hard to cut the cake to eat it since everyone wanted
a chance to spin ! :-)

So, I did a fence and some blue.

These turned out so much better than the first time around. They were a huge hit at my daughters picnic this weekend. The box idea for transporting these worked perfectly. The girls LOVED the twist cone, and it's a cherry sour on the top.

well, I didn't realize I didn't have the colors I wanted until it was too late at night. I plan to try this again with brighter colors and I need to buy the wide tip for the stripes. I am also having a hard time getting my icing to the right consistancy I needed.

It is a color flow like cookie icing recipe that we give out at the cake and candy supply store I work at. The wings have edible glitter.

This was a cake for my friends 3 year old daughter. Her aunt actually made the cake, I did the dora color flow and the fondant butterflies and flowers. This was after my AC went out at home!!! The fondant wilted a little but I think it came out well!

I decided to create a John Deere theme cake for my son. He loved it, despite the fact that on the way home from class my cake went flying when I stopped at a red light! I'm learning that MMF is a little more forgiving than BC.

This was for my cousin's baby shower. The cake is marble cake with milk chocolate frosting filling, buttercream, and color flow accents. The cake was a big hit and disappeared really quickly! I also knitted a blanket for the baby with the same color theme (blue, green, yellow, and white).

Made this cake for my son's 5th Birthday.
I googled for a Spiderman image, then I use Color Flow to trace the image. Took me a few hours to do. Then the next day I iced and place the image onto the cake and finished icing the cake. Here's the finished product. :)
Here's a link to see the original image, then the outline, then the finished cake.

customer wanted clown cake design to be like the candle tiered cake I had done.
I found the clown separator plates on ebay. the clown on top is a cupcake made in the wilton silicone feet cupcake thingies. Then I made the arms, head and hair out of fondant. She wanted it to be primary colors with the borders in primary colors as well.

I made this for the last day of my son's pre-school. Saw it in the wilton YB and couldn't wait to try it!
A little disappointing - not so great to eat as a jelly roll. Next time I'll try it out of regular cake.

Birthday cake for friend's daughter's 1st birthday designed to match the hugs and stitches-themed partyware. Everything done in buttercream - looking back would have saved loads of time doing designs in fondant, but oh well!

This is yet another display cake for our bakery window.

Its all buttercream with real ribbon and silk flowers. The color is airbrushed on so I could get a 'marble' effect. I then piped on a design that I adapted from the royal icing princess tiaras I found here.

I have to say this is one of my favorites I've done so far, for many reasons. First off, my husband helped with a lot of this. He helped color the fondant and cut out shapes. He made the buttons and the wood posts. Second, of all I love the colors of this cake. They are just so vibrant (which is due to my husband's wonderful kneading abilities). Last of all, it was fun to make!
This is my better butterscotch cake with Satin Ice Fondant for all the decorations. I hope you enjoy!

This was my son's first birthday cake. I've been wanting to do this style cake since the day he was born and finally the day came! I'm satisfied with the way it turned out... many things went wrong but I learned from them... not sure if I'll ever attempt this again (maybe for $1000 haha)... his matching smash cake is in front.

This was made for a baby shower. The bottom cake is white, the top cake is white. The frosting is buttercream dream (loved it!) and the baby is fondant. The signs are royal/color flow.

I was not very happy with this cake. I wanted to upload it for pointers. I know
I needed to use a smaller tip for my lace and my icing had melted in the car. What else do you think? I like my layout , but there is just something I'm missing.

Each cut from a 9X13 one white one chocolate. BC icing with MMF accents. For two sisters each flip flop had there name and age on the back. My favorite pair I have done yet. They were having a pool party and I even found ribbon to match that said pool party!

All B/C icing. I made the circles so round by doing a method similar to a FBCT (where the back is the front). I made them one at a time. When the B/C was partially frozen I cut it with a 4" circle cutter. Then I refroze the circle. Once completely frozen I placed them right-side-up on the cake. For the face, I just built up the icing on parchment paper and smoothed it with a sponge paint roller, then froze it.
