My version of ChristyB's fantastic JoJo Cake. I still desperately need more practice working with fondant...maybe next time no wrinkles!

Inspired by a similar version on another cake site. The penis is a plastic support covered with MMF. The rings are gumpaste, so they really could have played ring toss! For a bachelorette party.

My son's 2nd birthday, he loved trains and asked for a train cake, but we had already hired a clown, so this was the best of both worlds, a circus train

I am taking the Wilton courses now and LOVE it. This was the clown cake. I hate clowns but thought it was cute. I am finally getting the hang of smoothing out my bc too. The candle is for my daughter who has gone 1 month potty trained.

This is the same cake that I have made before but this one was for a child's birthday. That's why I put clowns on it instead of roses. It's a French vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling. I only had it on the stand to take the picture because the stand is homemade and not that sturdy.

Course I clown cake. White cake with class buttercream. First time I managed to get my frosting smooth and sometimes I wish I knew what I had done differently.

I am a children's librarian, and recently held a "cake decorating" at our library. The kids got to choose one of four "cupcake designs". Over 150 kids showed up. I chose simple designs that the younger kids could handle. We used white icing for the base. For the hair, we cut candied Orange Slices in half. The eyes were M&M's. The nose was a Ju-ju candy cut in half. The eyebrows and smile were shoestring licorice.

This was the first cake I did in a Wilton class. It was so much fun! But, my frosting was so soft the clowns had fallen by the time I got home and so I tried to "shore them up" with extra frosting when I got home (in this picture) and they don't look nearly as cute as they did at class. Sigh! Oh well...these were lots of fun!

This was the final cake for the Course I class. Didn't really know what I was doing. It looks like the colors of Baskin Robbins ice cream shop on it.

My daughter's 3rd b-day cake. Wanted to do a cake like dolittle's JoJo cake, but mine did not come out good (sorry, no pic) and decided to do a JoJo castle. I saw a lot of ideas on here on castle cakes (with ice-cream cones) and liked cambo's. Hope everyone likes it! Comments/ suggestions would be appreciated!

This is a picture of a cake I did for my cousin's baby boy's first birthday this past weekend. The bottom tier is marble chocolate chip and the top tier is white chocolate with buttercream filling. Both are covered MMF, with MMF balloons and buttercream star borders. The clowns are made of royal icing. The smash cake is a simple vanilla cake with BC. I also did cupcakes for the kids, which I will post separately.

These are the cupcakes I made for the kids, which went with the theme of the clowns and balloons. I forgot to mention earlier that the letters sitting on the cake were actual wooden letters that I got at Michaels and covered in MMF.
