This cake was done with two other members on Cake Central, momade and another friend. This cake was a donation cake for Icing Smiles. It was for the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. Their camp was celebrating their 25th Anniversary. There were almost 200 children there with cancer, plus volunteer counselors, family members as well as others. To give an idea of size, the tent served approx. 200. Three of the cakes were left and brought back to Ronald McDonald House to be served there, plus they took all the figures on the cakes. The camps theme for the week was circus, so they requested a circus theme cake. Everything on the cake is edible, except the net itself. The cakes were laid on on tables measuring 8' x 8', we had to use a queen size sheet for the table cloth. Making this cake was the greatest honor each of the 3 of us have had. The experience is one none of us are able to describe, but we each are so thankful we were given the opportunity to do this cake. In addition, one of the counselors was a Make a Wish child for the founder of Icing Smiles. How wonder he was there that day.

A friend gave me a photo she had found and asked me to make the same carousel, with a circus theme. I had no idea until I just searched the others here, that it was a Wilton product! Wow - I could have saved a lot of time!!!!!! The top is made of rice krispies. The only thing not edible is the dowels.

Two-tiered cake featuring open circus tent. This was my first fondant cake! I cheated and used gumballs for added excitement, but they are edible.

This creation consists of a 12x8 sheet and one 6" round. There is slight carving on the top to create the 'train' top; the round is cut in 1/2 and each 1/2 placed at the bottom of the sheet cake for the wheels. It is completely iced and decorated in b'cream.

I can not take full credit for this design. A friend ask me if I can duplicate a cake. I tweaked it a bit. I made 3d figurines instead of 2D and added more detail to it. This was my first topsy turvy cake. It was a challenge but I'm just happy a the cake make it safe to the birthday=)

Cake was chocolate with chocolate buttercream icing, buttercream polka-dots, and buttercream clown bodies. Plastic clown heads placed on bodies. This was one of the cakes I did in the Wilton class

The theme of the cake was based on the invite. Everything is edible, the clowns are made of royal icing, and other figures are made of a combination of fondant, and gum paste.

I made these to go with the Dumbo smash cake for my son's 1st birthday. I cut the red triangles out of sugar sheets and made the flags out of sugar sheets, too. The letter P is for Peter, my son, and I wrote it with a food writer.

Circus cake for my nephew. He dictated what he wanted on each tier. Vanilla, chocolate, and lemon cakes: 12, 10 and 8 inch. Very plain bottom borders due to travel & cake stand used (from now on I'll use smaller cakes for this one). Buttercream with fondant accents. Tent is rkt covered with fondant. Flags are scrapbook paper on popsicle sticks.
