Circus McGurkus is a Dr. Seuss book from long ago and a favorite of my granddaughter. The tent top was formed with sugar cones and RKT and then covered with two layers of fondant. The pennant flags are fondant shapes folded over cloth covered wire. Balloons and decorations are fondant.

My daughter's high-school graduation cake. She wears a bracelet that says the thing about the circus.I had a totally different design planned, but we had a power failure at my house for 5 hours when I was supposed to be decorating these and my son's end of year cupcakes so I had to change my designs due to time constraints. Ugh!!! Not nearly as cool as I planned, but it is what it is.

This is a first birthday cake I made for my daughter. We had a carnival party with red and turquoise being the theme colors. Wanted to make a "classier" carnival cake. It's a 12/8/4, with the top tier being her smash cake (that is why it is covered in buttercream while the bottom layers are in MMF).

Original design was by the Pink Cake Box but she didn't want fondant so the cake is buttercream. I made some changes to the original and the customer was thrilled. Cakes were a 9" chocolate, 6 and 3" vanilla.

This is a 6" and 8" white cake with buttercream iciing, covered in MMF. Decorations are MMF also. The cake was designed to resemble the dress that the birthday girl would be wearing. The tent at the top is a picture holder that I found. The birthday girl's picture was going to be put in it! So cute! I was very proud of this cake!

This cake was for a little boy's first birthday. The mom sent me a picture of a very cute cake by ulcajunabear and asked for something similar. This is what I came up with. Everything is edible (except for the dowels). Used fondant and gumpaste for all decos and a mold for the carousel horses. It was a lot of fun to make!

Made this cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. Its a mixture of ideas, Kaz79 and icedideas gave me the initial inspiration and then my daughter had her heart set on a circus train from Debbie Brown so had to add that too! This picture was taken before I had a chance to remove all the icing sugar dust so that was all gone before it was served! Top cake is chocolate, bottom vanilla and the train is vanilla cake. All with buttercream icing and fondant everywhere else. My daughter loved it!!
