I did this cake for a 19 year old young man's birthday. The 8' vanilla supreme cake was iced in buttercream then airbrushed red with colored fondant accents and sprinkled with meteor hologram dust.

Chocolate Cake on bottom, with Dark Chocolate ganache, Butter cake in the middle with white chocolate ganache then strawberry cake. It's like neopolitan icecream. I used the new paisley pan, the medium sized one, and covered it in fondant. The circles were a lot of fun to put on, the paisley was a little difficult to figure out how to smooth the inner circle, but i love the way this turned out.

I had under an hour to decorate a cake, so this is what I got! I decided to try a "quilted pattern, which I've never tried, but I thought it turned out okay... I don't know what you're SUPPOSED to use to make this though, I'll have to check that out. It's all chocolate fondant, both the covering and the little round pieces.

I made this cake in reverse colors for teenage brothers whose families were celebrating their birthdays together. The vanilla supreme cake was iced in buttercream them airbrushed blue with colored fondant circles and sprinkled with Meteor hologram dust.

spur of the moment favor for a friend. funky cake for his daughter's 6th birthday. bc with fondant stripes, circles and ball. topped with pipe cleaners and a bow. this is actually a mini cake, bottom is made up of a double layer, six inch and top is a triple layer, four inch cake- kinda like a jumbo cup cake, only taller.

Made this cake for my niece. 9" and 8" carved covered in bc and fondant. I wanted to make the wires coming out of the top more elaborate, but ran out of time.

4" lemon, 6" chocolate fudge, 8" strawberry, covered in mmf with mmf accents. first time covering a real cake with mmf.... the strawberry mmf was so much easier to use than the regular white mmf. thanks for looking.

Chocolate cake w/buttercream/fondant accents. I usually don't like to put plastic centerpieces on cakes, but the mother bought it ahead of time, so I had to use it. I'm actually pleased w/how it turned out though!!

This was really a quickie cake that I did for my German exchange student who is leaving soon. We had a going-away party for her and I also had to plan that, so I didnt get to do a really cool cake like I had hoped! This is all BC icing on yellow box cake. The circles are wilton fondant I had in the cabinet! It tasted really good !

Each number is carved from an 11 x 15 sheet and iced smooth with buttercream. MMF royal blue and yellow circles and stripes accent each number.

6' 10" & 12" dark chocolate fudge, white, and red velvet. BC with fondant cap tassle, diploma, circles and letters. I made this cake for my daughter's HS graduation. Everyone just loved it. And most important, she loved it.

This cake was for my 12 year old daughter's birthday. The two two patterns are from scrapbook paper she picked out for making her invitaions. (One of which was also used on the cake board.) All decorating done in buttercream.

First attempt at making the carved topsy turvy cake. Hope it doesn't fall when I deliver it! Yikes! This was so much fun to make. All BC icing, only exception being hte circles made of fondant.

This is the first Topsy Turvy cake I have ever done. Thanks to all who answered my questions and thank you especially to JKalman for detailed instruction! It is iced all in BC with MMF circles, dots, and balls. This was for my oldest son's 5th grade graduation from his Catholic Grad School- edible photo of the class on the middle tier.

12 in WASC Cake with MMF fondant icing and decorations, painted with Wilton's pearl dust. The mom picked the colors and I got to do whatever I wanted! I didn't want to do any flowers since she isn't the floral type girl, but this was perfect! She love it, and was so excited since it was a surprise! The little whole in the middle was where the candle was.
