My first attempt at wired decorations. Some bulging (from settling) on the bottom layer - in retrospect, I'd have supported the top layer better. Fondant (SatinIce) tinted lime green and brown. Top layer: toasted coconut cake with pineapple filling. Bottom layer: chocolate cake with raspberry filling.

Chocolate fondant covered 1/2 sheet vanilla cake with whipped ganache filling. Green circles are done with fondant. I really loved how this turned out!

The bottom layer of this cake is dark chocolate fudge with vanilla frosting. The top layer is white cake with whipped white frosting. I used mm fondant to make this cake.

Cupcakes and cutting cake made for my SIL.... the whole reason I started decorating (taking classes). Chocolate fondant and fondant/gumpaste circles. The adorable topper was made by the grooms brother.

This is 9" 2 layer cake. One layer WASC and the other Double Chocolate Layer cake. It had Bailey's Irish Cream Mousse for the filling. Fondant bow. First one of this style. Fondant circles. Buttercream icing. Thank you to all of the CC's that inspired me!

This cake is iced smooth with buttercream. I was practicing with a new icing and also needed to use up some leftover MMF that I had on hand. Circle, dots and ball border all done in MMF.

Did this to match the party plate they gave me. I just love the bright colors like this. Cake is a butter cake with buttercream icing and fondant dots. Toppers are gum paste.

Three hats on a 12x18 cake. The hats are cake made in three small bowls covered in fondant. This is my first time using fondant in this way. I have a whole new appreciation for how much work it is! Some of the roses were made Duffs way with the circles.

This is a cake I did for a co-workers birthday. All buttercream, flowers brushed embroidery. Chocolate cake, and chocolate mousse filling. The side view shows little leaves and more flowers on the sides.

12" Golden yellow cake (with White choc raspberry creamer added) and raspberry filling. 8" strawberry cake with strawberry filling. This filling was a mixture of strawberry ice cream topping & bc. All bc with fondant accents.

Fondant onesie and circles. I did the circles to hide my un-smooth sides due to extreme humidity!! This shower was for two moms, one having a boy and one having a girl.

WASC covered in BC and Satin Ice. All accents are fondant except the "M" which is gumpaste.

I made this for a birthday party. I suck at buttercream, but that is what what requested. The cake is devil's food and the circles and balls on top are fondant with lustre dust painted on.

8/6 all MMF I really enjoyed doing this one for our Pastor at church! He is a very fun, upbeat person, so this fit his personality. I forgot to put in the supports, so the bottom buckled some. I'm learning more every day!!
