This was my mother's 50th Birthday Cake. The original plan was to do all black and white, but the party planners bought hot pink decorations so I had to throw some pink in to blend! I was happy with the turnout, and my mom loved it! TFL :)

This was my first cake with fondant. It's not the greatest, but my son knew that it was his Robot Cake. All the decorations are made with MMF and the robot pieces are held together with a dab of cornstarch (inserted toothpicks into his head and body and into the cake to make him stay seated).

This was my final class cake for the Wilton Gum Paste/Fondant course and my first time covering and decorating a cake in fondant. It's 2 - 8 inch cakes stacked and filled with buttercream frosting and covered with Wilton fondant. The circles were cut using the tools that come in the student kit. The bow is flat because I made it the first week of class then stored it for 3 weeks so it didn't fluff up the way I wanted it to :(

Subtle yellow circles accented with black and white creates a striking combination! Cake is french vanilla with dark chocolate buttercream and ganache (8", 6", 4").

An anniversary cake. Yellow cake with BC icing, ribbon for the border, fonant circles and plastic pieces for the top of the cake. Lettering was an idea from a Wilton book. Cake did not turn out like I wanted (couldn't get icing smooth) but luckily it was just for me and hubby (and a few close friends) for our anniversary.

I made this cake for my son 2nd birthday. The top tier is banana flavored with cream cheese filling. The bottom tier is vanilla with butter cream. Both are covered on MMF,all the accents are mmf mixed with gum paste. I was inspired by a lot of mod monkey cakes I saw here on Cc.TFL

This bride was very specific and I wanted to make sure she had the cake of her dreams. It's covered in off-white vanilla butter cream with chocolate brown scrolls and dots, burnt orange ribbon and handmade sugar leaves. This was by far the heaviest and largest cake I've delivered and I'm thrilled that they were so happy with it! ;)

Pink & Lime (birthday girls' fav colors) cupcakes in 24 to form a cake. Fondant accents, with buttercream lettering. Pink & Lime curly ribbon was places at 2 upper corner along with Pink & Lime butterflies with the center (also was something she likes). TFL!
